This center has extremely bad management. Almost next to none, there is a guy named Joe who is the supposed manager who does nothing but sit in his office and say that hes working. Meanwhile, the entire staff doesn’t know what they’re doing. and lacks bedside manner/ time management. There is constantly rooms full of people. And it takes over 3 hours to collect plasma. Even though I literally do the kiosk on my phone and check myself in!??? The only thing that they have to do is take a blood sample, my weight and my Blood Pressure. There is no reason on Earth that it should take over an hour and a 1/2 for a donation to be collected. This is outrageous and it is a waste of everybody’s time, especially for such a low paying donation. It’s funny that the staff gets paid, but you guys are taking complete advantage of the patrons time. This center really needs to be investigated by the board of health as well as by the inspector general and the Better Business Bureau. Because it really is that bad!!!!!!!! Not to mention that it’s completely filthy. There’s trash everywhere, blood everywhere. They don’t care and it shows!!!!!! It takes one of the attendees over 5 minutes to wrap your arm after taking out your IV. That’s heinous and disgraceful, not to mention extremely unprofessional and unsanitary (risk of infection). Quite a few employees like to speak Creole. And they love talking during work hours, which is extremely unprofessional in a health facility!!!?

the slowest Plasma center ever , they are so disorganized . Every time I try to donate I sit in the waiting area for at least 2-4 hours waiting just to DONATE . The phlebotomist people they have are not trained to work in a busy environment. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL

You can’t reach anyone by phone. It says walk ins from 11 am. We drove 45 minutes and arrived at 11:15. We were greeted by Joseph who pulled out. A sheet that had 9 appointments on it and said they were closing at 4 and could not take us that we needed an appointment. I advised you can’t make an appointment online he replied yep. That is correct your first time you get a registration number and will be able to after that. They don’t have anyone to answer the phone. There was no one waiting like there is at other plasma centers but Joseph did not care. He said they were closing in 4 1/2 hours and we could not be taken. We explained we followed the 11 am walk in and drive 45 min to get there. Joseph just did not care. Very disappointed Joseph. We have been donating for some time and never have we been treated like this. Francesca

This place is the worst. Ever since the new owners. They made it so much more uncomfortable so much so that they lost half their donors and more than half their staff. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Was told she would be out in about 15 minutes. Once she came out she didn’t even greet any of the donors nor did she come to find out who what when or where. The big bosses are all rude as hell

Wait time is extremely long due to no staff because corporate will not hire new staff and they took out the chairs as well. DO NOT COME HERE. Workers are very kind but need more assistance here . Payment is not with it. Corporate does not care. A generic response will be left under my post and I’m not interested in speaking to anyone !!!!

I think arriving at 3pm with a new patient appointment scheduled and leaving past closing (8pm) is ridiculous..

I would never recommend coming here. Staff is very rude and passive aggressive. System changed a few months ago and the process for applicants already in the system is frustrating. You have to wait in the lobby for over 15 minutes even if you are on time for your appointment. This place is a joke and you will end up spending at least 2 hours just waiting.

This place is a joke! First time I went in the late morning, sat in the reception area for over an hour before someone told me the wait would be another 3 hours to get through the first time donor process then another 30-45 minutes to donate. I decided to come back another time when they were less busy. I returned this morning. Enter the center, waited for 15 minutes before the staff (other than security who announced my arrival), even acknowledged my presence. However several staff members were chatting and laughing in plain sight. I was the only one in the new donor area until 15 minutes after I was waiting another new donor joined me. After another 15 minutes I was asked to go to one of the registration areas where they took my information and issued me a donor number. They told me to return to the new donor area and someone would be with me to “check my veins”. I waited, as the staff continued to joke and play behind the reception desk. I was beginning to become frustrated by the lack of care for the waiting new donors, so I asked someone, who appeared to be the supervisor how long it would be to complete the process for today. She looked at a check in list with my name on it and 5 other names, including the name of the new donor who came AFTER ME, but whose name was written before mine. She pointed at name #3 and said we’re here. I commented, “so, I’m next. I came well before this person.” She rudely replied that she goes by the order on the list , so I would have to go after that person.”. I expressed my disapproval and she basically told me to go somewhere else if I didn’t like it and crossed off my name. I walked out and called their corporate office to report my experience. They indicated they would “start a claim”. We’ll see.

Unable to donate because I use a POB for mail and my address in over 25 miles away. I recommend staying away from Biomat, it seems they want to turn people away instead of servicing them. I take no medication and I am good health, it is a shame I could not help people today.

this place is a joke. octapharma gets you in and out in like an hour, even in their busiest day. maybe they should get some tips from them. At Octa there will be literally 3 workers and you’re still not waiting an hour plus to even start donating. Here you have 2 taking vitals and like 3 or 4 phlebotomists in the back and it still takes a whole almost 2 hour process. I shouldn’t be having my whole afternoon screwed over because they want to be slow.
