It’s all about about them making money and not the people who are donating and risking their health and time. Today was supposed to be my second donation as a new donor. I got there at 3 pm and went through check in and screening just fine. After I waiting 2 1/2 hours to get on the donor floor the man that attempted to put the needle in missed my vein several times and kept adjusting making this VERY painful. My other arm does not have good veins so no point of trying. After all of this they did not compensate me ANYTHING for all my time being wasted and i had to pick my kids up with no gas to get there. Very inconsiderate people at this company. I would not recommend or return to biomat period! And the man the stuck my was supposed to be a manager! You have got to be kidding me. Horrible

Terrible. They are notorious for having ‘technical difficulties’ with the pay system and needing you to get another card that you have no choice but to pay $2.50 out of the little money thy pay you. This is the 4th time they did this to me and it is extortion at its finest. They are taking advantage Of people through paperwork and Systems . I recommend freedom plasma center. Better pay and treatment.

This is sad. I stopped coming to this center once they started randomly dropping the donation fees and the only way you find out is after you have already donated – imagine that. You have it calculated in your mind just to schedule a appt and take time and energy out your day to go through the process just to end up with a different fee than what was promised. So I went to freedom plasma which has the best payouts in atlanta do your home work. Today I made the mistake of coming back to this center and every thing went smooth at first. My appt was at 230 and I finished donating at 430 even though I didn’t mind waiting but the problem is, when I finished donating they told me I would be paid instantly then 5 min then 15 min then they don’t know the system is down. Wow. So I ended up sitting up there stuck on that side of town for hours and hours with them having my plasma already they had me by the balls. Then I watched them allow more donors come in and donate without warning them that they weren’t able to pay them today which in my eyes is stealing at that point. Freedom plasma pays alot more and I am going back to them until further notice. I hate being treated any kind of way without being compensated for my inconvenience. Also they made me get a new card even though I had my old card and charged me a “card replacement fee” against my wishes that i did not deserve. It is exploitation at its finest. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

These people are not qualified for what they do. On multiple occasions they bruised up my entire arm sticking the needles all the way through my vein and if you piss them off they will put you on the slowest speed so you’re stuck there for three or four hours when everybody else is doing it in 1 hour. I will never go there again. It’s not worth dying for.

Some of the staff are professional. Center is clean. BUT they are SLOW. Only go if you have TIME to spare. Answered the questions from the app before I got there. Waited 20 mins to have vitals done and another hour wait before I was called back to donate. Mind you, there was no one in front on me in the waiting area.

First off that Richard without a last name isnt me. Thats a fake account created by one of the staff members at Biomat. Sasha is cool and is the best Phlebotomist there. Now as for Biomat as a whole I tried to give them another chance.

Phlebotomists are cool but the front desk staff is HORRIBLE. I kept showing them that their website does not work for check-in and they continuously grabbed my phone with my sensitive information in it and were tinkering around with it behind the counter like I’m a child and don’t know what I’m doing. It was so wildly inappropriate and felt violating. They have the nerve to have a security guard point their fingers at a clearly posted sign that I could read without any help. If this is how they speak to neurotypical people I am afraid for anyone who may have a disability and just need kindness and guidance. I have donated plenty of times elsewhere without incident but the procedure and the attitude of the staff here make it a very unappealing place to go to. If you go here be prepared for a lot of negative energy.

Front desk is horrible, ghetto, and extremely unprofessional. The only phlebotomist I trust is bri and I have only donated twice. I had a male phlebotomists the second time and he ruptured my vein! He stuck me in my left arm, and blood started spilling everywhere, all down the chair, on the arm rest, and on the floor. Which he didn’t even clean up properly smh. Blood was still on the arm rest. I then seen Bri and begged could she do it! So she did the right arm. 2 hours + passed as I am walking home I took the bandage off the left arm(because they say 2 hours) and blood just starts pouring out of my arm. I called to ask if Bri would be there because I don’t want to walk there and waste a trip if she isn’t, and was told they can’t tell me that. I am asking because I don’t want to BLEED TO DEATH WHILE WALKING HOME. I swear black people, we are our own worse enemy. She could’ve looked out, but I will never donate EVER AGAIN!! And if I do , it won’t be here! Stay away unless you don’t mind bleeding out, and being poked in the veins more than a few times
