I have been donating for several years and find the staff here to be very capable, competent and caring. The bathrooms are immaculately clean as is the whole facility, which reflects an effort to keep everyone healthy. The donation area has a family atmosphere, with donors and guests conversing with each other. Hearty laughter is clearly welcome here. Would like to give a special shout out to Kaitlin, who more than once has extended courtesy to me that goes beyond he parameters of professional responsibility. I was a first time donor and Lucy was so nice and infectious positive goofy attitude loved her. Also Brian is a good guy. Made me feel at ease and explained everything about the donate process and made it personal rather than another transaction. Very glad Grifols exists. I’ve done many years of donating blood through red cross but now will make a difference and get a little reward. I mean it’s the least you can do. I appreciate the service you provide that let’s people like me donate and get compensated thank you!!!

Went there 5 times this week. 5 times! In one week to be turned away due to my pulse. Took my pulse all the way to this place. It was in the 80’s. Every time I went they said it was 100+. I took my pulse right before I went inside and it was in the 80’s. Got turned away for it being in the 100’s. It’s always cold inside there too. Not to mention I referred 5 people with successful donations. So I’m unable to get the referral bonus. It is extremely irritating as I live in New Bedford. This doesn’t make me want to refer or come back at all. I’m going to try one more time. If I get turned away I’m going to stop referring people and stop coming all together. I will say that I’ve been coming since august of 2022 and Liz is amazing . She is able to stick me in one shot. She is also one of the most hard working employees there. She was the only one willing to stick me as I have deep veins. No one else wanted to stick me but her. They just kept passing me off to someone else to do a vein check. She makes it painless and has an awesome personality! I always ask for her… she’s probably the reason I keep coming back!

The staff here are wonderfully pleasant, very thorough and extremely patient. While most donors of plasma are pleasant to interact with, some can, on occasion, be abrasive, obnoxious and downright hostile. The staff here make the utmost effort to please and accommodate these people, sometimes to no avail. No matter what time I’ve arrived, even if it’s after a difficult encounter with an unreasonably hostile donor, the phlebotomists and staff here are always pleasant, welcoming, fun and humorous. The food and hospitality industry could learn a thing or two about service from the staff here at Grifols Fall River. 100 % A+++
