It’s a horrible experience as far as waiting time. Even when it’s clear in the lobby and barley anyone there it’s still a wait to even get to the donation. Then once you back there you still have to wait to get stuck. This is the slowest center I’ve ever went to. And the compensation makes it feel like a complete waste of time. And from this review the owner will comment and say sorry for your inconvenience blah blah but nothing will change. Staff just walks by nothing is ever happening. Horrible place. I wish I could give zero stars. I’ve literally been here over an hour and didn’t get stuck and there’s no one in the lobby. People have been leaving the same reviews for over a year now and nothing has changed. I don’t know how staff is employed

This place has made me never want to donate ever again in life. The experience is the worst. And it’s bad enough you guys are giving us chump change for our donations when really you’re making way more money off of it but say your saving lives. Literally dropped base pay to 40$. And you have to come back the same week to make 85$.Overall the experience is not worth it. Definitely not here at least. It’s all about money and it’s not going to donors. The wait is so bad that I’ll never come back. Over a hour to go back. Another 30 minutes to get hooked up and nobody was even there. One staff member had to ask the other why are these people still in the lobby. It’s been the same for years nothing has changed. The owner leaves some coerced automated responses on your comments but nothing gets done. Just go down in the reviews he literally says the same thing. If you go back in the reviews people were saying these same things 4 years ago. Avoid this place at all costs. They pay you bad and you there for a long time. Not worth your body or your time. I feel like anyone that left them 5 stars for reviews is a fake review with all the 1 star reviews I’m seeing

I had a pinch in my arm so I asked for help. It felt like the lady with blond hair and glasses young took the needle out the jabbed it back into my arm it hurt so bad after that when my blood was meant to go back in my body I started leaking blood out of my arm and all they wanted to know is if I was still gonna donate….act like you care about the people who come in and like it just a regular 9-5 that you’re just trying to get through. You are people but we are people too. Putting in the real sacrifice. Some people do plasma because it’s the only way to get income and $45 is not enough for a 886ml bottle of plasma! Also I had a huge bruise that lasted almost 2 weeks

I had a scheduled appointment at Biomat in Dickson City ( Sunday) and was running a little late so out of courtesy I called to let them know. The receptionist said I had a 15 minute window to get there to donate and then a woman in the background said that if I couldn’t be on time that I would have to reschedule. I asked the receptionist if there was a later opening that I could come down and was told they were booked solid.

I have been donating at this center for a number of years and arrived to donate at 9:50 am as usual. I was told that appointments were now required. I said that I had not donated in about a month and wasn’t aware of this. They stated it is the practice now (for the last 3 weeks). I told them I was not notified of this either by text or email…. staff rudely said, “once again corporate changed the donating procedure without notifying the donors and you need an appointment.” I was told the earliest I could get in was 11:00 bc they were booked solid, however the donating area was literally empty with only 5 or so people actively in the chairs . Grifols regularly sends texts and emails to me about how wonderful the company is, but never anything that matters such as now needing an appointment. I drive 20 miles to donate at this center because the majority of the workers are wonderful, but this will change after another ridiculous 3.5 hour wait or experience like this. If you read other reviews….This is just a soundboard… Quality here has steadily degraded since Grifols took over and has done nothing that has improved service. If you’re considering becoming a new donor, I would seriously look elsewhere.

I was there for my first time on a Sunday. Small crew working. Everyone was polite except this one employee. She was extremely disrespectful towards a Co worker who had an accent. She was mocking her, and telling her how silly she sounds. The woman took it in stride. Like most people in this situation would do. I wish I would have spoke up while I was there but didn’t want to make the situation any more uncomfortable for the worker. That type of ignorance should not be tolerated. Will not recommend.
