I’ve been going here since December and I like the convenience of only going every 35 days to do a donation and samples. The staff is friendly and they’re all very efficient in their work. I appreciate all of the many things they do like pile blankets on when I start getting a bit cold and putting a pillow behind my head if I forgot to ask for one before being hooked up. The only negative I really have is the distance, I’m from Greeneville and the 2 needles, one in each arm for 4 hours. It gets quite uncomfortable your last 2 hours and your saline and last red cell return. They always provide snacks and water or juice, sometimes all 3 as well as cups, or small stick up calendars etc. I really appreciate the whole staff thank you all for helping me to be comfortable donating with a needle phobia.

Donated at the tri city donation center in Johnson City. First class service, great accommodations and great staff. Would do it again. Just filled out the questionnaire and they contacted me right away. Two days later I was in Johnson city.

Physicians Plasma Alliance (PPA) has been a great paid plasma donation center (for disease diagnosed people) to work with. I have not personally donated there, however I referred three of my close friends to Physicians Plasma Alliance after two of them got Lyme Disease, and one got Malaria while visiting Africa. None of them had any complaints about Physicians Plasma Alliance or the process, and they all told me that Kevin King, PPA’s owner, went to great lengths to take care of them, set them up in a comfortable hotel (they flew to TN from MA to participate), and paid them generously ($400 per plasma donation) with all expenses paid and a flexible schedule. I wish more people knew about Physicians Plasma Alliance since research has so much to gain, as do the patients with these diseases.
