Great location. Very clean and staff is always friendly. They make the process quick and easy. Shout out to the OGs Carla, Octavio and Paul! I’ve never had a bad experience here. Everyone is really professional and good at what they do. Even when it’s busy the staff always takes the time to ask how your doing and just generally make sure you’re comfortable.

First registration part And phesical And your first donation takes about 2 and a 1/2 hours. After that it’s a quick sign in process and donation takes about an hour. Everybody there is really nice really knowledgeable The plasma donation is practically painless Just some slight discomfort When they first put the needle in They are using a butterfly needle Which is a very small needle So it is practically painless I’ve done a little over 20 donations Each time ranging from around a $90 to a $140 a donation. I would definitely give it a try.

Lisa has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen somebody in a customer service related position have. Terrible phone etiquette. every single time I ask her a simple question her face scrunches up like she smells bad cheese and she looks at me like I’m stupid. The first time I’ve ever talked to her was on the phone where she promptly lied and said there were no more appointments when there clearly was on the website. Once she realized she got caught in a lie she didn’t even apologize or acknowledge the fact that she did. My whole point of even having to call that place and deal with this lady was because the website was having issues and wouldn’t let me schedule one. She needs to fix her attitude nobody wants to deal with that.

Aside from this one particular individual every other staff member I interacted with during my visit was cordial and pleasant. This individual however, had such blatant disdain for me it wasn’t funny. I suppose it is my fault though considering I wanted to ask about how soon I would get seen considering I was told to sit with no information as to how long that might be after 15 minutes of open ended waiting. When I gently inquired she quickly told me to sit back down and that I’d be next. I got glared at icily as she strode over to the gentleman who came in after me likewise for his first donation. What a flex lady. You really got me.

this Biolife Centre is far and away the best one I have been too. the staff is amazing, super friendly, and extremely efficient. they also put on some fire jams in the morning that help me wake up during those early AM donations. From the medical history booths to the end of the blue section on the floor, the center is super clean and filled with amazing workers. glad this is my center and shout out to all of the bio life staff here

This place is very clean and I really like to commend them on that, bathrooms waiting areas and donation center is top tier 10 out of 10 clean. One of the cleanest that I’ve been in this part of California, they are never too busy and get people out relatively quick. The staff here are very friendly, and there’s always appointments available.

I really like it there, all the staff are really nice and friendly. They talk you through and make sure that you understand everything that ur about to do. The best part is that it’s for a good cause and you’re getting paid for it. Now how awesome is that

This donation center is terrible!!! The phlebototomist running pink and aqua section sunday 9/2 were SO UNPROFESSIONAL! My appointment was at 11:40 i walked out at 1:10 without giving a donation. After watching 3 people who sat down after me get hooked up. I finally said something to the male phlebototomist while he was talking to the doner next to me about another doner who was in the chair across from mine but had just walked out. He had a “3rd donation” placard He said ” they get to people in the order they sit down” which i responded with “that makes sense and i dont mean to be rude but ive been here for a hour maybe taking the walk out doners card to the front can wait until after I at least get my machine put together.” that was it, i didnt argure the fact they were hooking up doners who had came after me i didnt want to make a fus it wouldn’t get me anywhere if I did. They weren’t getting to people in the order they had sat down but being a Karen was only going to get me side eye. So I set my head back and i waited. While he was still working on the doner next to me the male phleb. told the female phleb. (The short girl with the swirly gages in her ears and the idgaf attitude) Who was 2 chairs down and across the aisle about the doner who had walked out. she shouted for everyone in our section to hear “thats fine, bye, Good redness.” And then laughed. When he was done with the doner next to me he walked over to the female phlebototomist who was still connecting the doner in pink. They talked for a second and then both phlebs. and the doner all looked over at me. she (phleb.) kind of half smiled, shrugged her shoulders, said something idk what and went and hooked up a another person who sat down after me. The male phlebototomist then went and disconnected someone, cleaned the chair called over the raido for a doner to aqua and grabed the placard and card and walked them to front. He came back and disconnected a 2nd patinet. I continued to sit patiently, irritated most definitely, but silent in my frustration. They never looked in my direction again. I came to the conclusion that waiting for my turn to come was going to be in vein when the guy went to go disconnect a 3rd doner. At that point i had had it! I had sat in that chair for almost an hour and I never even got asked my name and last 4. My machine was never even set up, nothing. the first 1/2 hour i was there was the questionnaire, screening and maybe a 10 min wait for a chair to open up. I watched people come and go from other sections. The guy in I think it was green was all by himself. i watched as he filled his section from 0 to full and completly hooked up 3 doners and was on his 4th when i walked out. Those 2 in aqua and pink today were ABSOLUTELY terrible! Not just slow, but rude and malicious. I genuinely believe after i said something they purposely skipped over me and were just waiting for me to either walk out like I did or say something again. I will never donate at the San Marcos location again because of this experience. I’ve had that female phleb before too and she had an equally bad attitude that time too it just wasnt about something i said or did.

My first visit back in 2021, the technician spilled my blood all over my arm. My most recent visit in 2023 has been good. Staff are more attentive, professional, and better at sticking needles.
