They are over booked and understaffed. Stressing out staff and patients all for greed.

I must say, I have been impressed nearly every time I have donated at BioLife. I have the added viewpoint that I am also an allied healthcare professional – a Medical Laboratory Scientist AND Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. As a clinician and donor, I am impressed with the dedicated devotion to protocol, procedure, and meticulous attention to the many little details that assure safety for donors and quality of plasma product for the patient who ultimately receives the plasma product. All these efforts are NOT EASY to maintain at all given the high donor throughput, and yet it appears they do it. I’ve donated dozens of times and never once seen a technician shortcut procedure or protocol. I truly hope more donors can and will come to appreciate the dedication of staff to their safety and the evidently exceptional dedication of management to quality and safety for donor and recipient patient. It truly is impressive.

Yes it can be busy at certain times of day, but the staff here is amazing! They’re always hustling and doing their best to be thorough but quick. The new machines take me only 28 minutes to donate. The last two times I’ve been there, I’ve been out in less than 1 hour.

Chelsea is professional and on top of her job! She’s an outstanding phlebotomist. I appreciate all of the staff here at BioLife. I’ve been taken care of with such genuine care. I’ve witnessed the staff treating everyone equally,. Cultural diversity is important in a big company. BioLife is making great choices in staffing. These people know how to treat their donors. Every employee I have met during my 3 times here, has impressed me.

why send out coupons if we can’t use them I haven’t been able to hit $120.or been able to make 2 donations in a week. Due to the “computers”. so I basically donate for $40 FOR AN HOUR each time occasionally will the computer let me schedule 2 x in a week.seems unfair and fixed let’s see how long I continue to stay at this location. OVERALL fast and clean environment. Just can’t get the 2 donations a week:(

After several failed attempts in a 2 week span of calling everyday/using their app I can say they do not answer the phones, respond back to voicemail or the messaging system on App. At the facility those at the front desk treat you like a pest since they don’t know half the answers to the most Basic of questions regarding setting up physicals or appointments They’ll just tell you to use the app.

First time went it took 4 hours to process initial paperwork, take “physical” and donate.. figured after that a donation by itself should go quicker.. I was wrong. On average it has taken about 3 hours JUST for a donation. That’s if you’re lucky enough to donate, twice in the last week and half I’ve had them mess up the needle insertion on both arms and I left with only a $20 compensation (after wasting two hours to get to that point). I’m lucky in that I don’t NEED the money, it was just a little extra something for fun but when a donation compensates you less than a part time job, what’s the point. Why bother with appointments and a scheduling tool if you can’t keep up with it.

Now that my new donor bonus is gone I will not be coming to this location. Staff is very rude because they are overworked and appts are over scheduled. I’ve seen female donors favored over me Everytime in regards to how fast they got you connected and disconnected, even if you finish before a female who was behind you in line and in the bay they will stall you and disconnect her first. Or if someone needs medical they’ll wait to get someone to connect your for 30+ minutes. I can finish my donation in 45 minutes but your here 2 hours+ Everytime. The freeway exit was closed the week before causing me to miss $80 for my second donation because I was 3 minutes late. The staff spent 20 minutes combined explaining how they couldn’t help me. A female donor having computer issues was helped immediately. The manager told me it was because her employees needed to be off the floor in an hour and a half but like I mentioned I’ve never spent less than 2 hours here and they were still taking donors who had spots after me. It’s like they want a certain Amount of people to miss their appt so they can stay on track. No respect for your time, gas money, or you as a person. Pay your employees better an respect your donors time.
