Today’s donation was lackluster! The tech that set up my machine was new and she also was the one that place the needle in my vein… just has she was reaching in to stick me, I told her she was going in at the wrong angle and she didn’t listen! She stuck me and there was no blood drew in the line, so she had to have someone else come behind her and do it correctly! The alarm goes off, I put my hand up and the tech who corrected the other techs work, immediately said, “ I know “ in a condescending way, like she was upset because I put my hand up! But, if I don’t raise my hand to get someone’s attention, I sit there til someone come and that often takes them long! I’ve had it happen numerous times…. Sometimes they’ll just look your way and don’t acknowledge you or say someone will be with you in a moment! There are times I don’t even like coming to this center, but it’s closer to where I reside!

Very pleasant donating experience. All staff members are extremely professional and kind. But if I’m being entirely honest, the reason I keep coming back is because of all the heart-warming human interaction that I see between the staff and donors. I feel like part of a special community when I come in.

I feel like I got totally screwed this time. I signed up for a 700$ promotion and only received 565$ and 50$ of that was for referring a friend of mine. I spoke with a manger there who said she would have to pass the information along but NO ONE has ever reached out. I left a message on the app and yet again NO ONE responded. I think it’s awful that I did my part and got screwed. Now I will never refer anyone to this place nor will I ever got back. Maybe this will get me a call but I seriously doubt it!!!!!

Your staff are awesome. I have watched and seen how they manage a large flow of people and through it all they all remained very professional. I highly recommend this site. They need to be recognized.

After bringing to their attention that I didn’t want a specific staff member to insert the large needle in my arms because this individual hurt me multiple times and left bruises and it would take weeks to stop hurting, the staff became offended and combative. Apparently staff at this location are aware of this behavior and don’t seem to care. So this must be how this company operates. So I do not recommend using them as the manager on down clearly don’t care about the people coming in.

I enjoy going to BioLife. Today however, I was mishandled by staff who appeared to be a bit frustrated because I mentioned having been waiting for over 10 mins to be released. She said she had a machine to disassemble and something else and she would be right over. When removing the needle from my arm, she literally snatched it with a slight lift which I had never experienced before. It hurt and is still a bit sore.

Don’t the phlebotomist have to change gloves every patient? When doing the initial physical they asked us to come up but would it change gloves. It was 3 employees that didn’t change gloves. Then I was taken to the back and the girls also didn’t change their gloves. She had used gloves and was touching my needle!! Isn’t this dangerous?? Please someone let management know so they can reinforce the importance of safety!!! We trust you guys! This is not okay!!

Very nice staff. But they don’t change gloves between each person when doing the pre examination before you give the blood. Kind of unsafe one would think.

I visited the plasma donation center recently and had a disappointing experience. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked professionalism. The donation felt rushed and left me with concerns about my well-being. There are always new employees that don’t know what they are doing. They set up the machines wrong and one of them gave me a huge hematoma, see pictures. The nurses are inconsistent with their assessments. Nurse Monica is awful, she will defer you for reasons that do not make any sense. Also, there have been several instances where I have noticed dry blood on the counter and observed that the staff did not change their gloves between interactions after wiping up blood. Moreover, the blood pressure cuffs appeared to be dirty and emitted an unpleasant odor. I would not recommend this plasma donation center due to the subpar facilities, unhelpful staff, and overall negative experience.
