I have been donating here since 2017, and many things have changed since then. Some good and some bad. The staff is always great, from the nurses to the techs. So many people have come and gone since, but Brandy, Cameo, Wayne are a few of those who make the vibe there nice and friendly.

The reason for the two stars is because of the waiting in the enormous long line before you can even donate. I haven’t been able to find a time where I don’t wait 2 hours. This location in AF need to have more staff, and open up more sections. The staff are nice, beds are clean, comfortable. I’m here during my lunch break which is going to be a very long lunch. Hopefully I won’t get fired.

I have donated here very consistently for like a year now. (And in Provo for a year before that). I used to get in and out fairly quick. Something happened in the past few weeks and now wait times are never less than 2 hours. Staffing issues are horrible and pay is only getting less and less. You’d think it would be the opposite? Pay loyal donors to stay. And make donation openings proportional to the number of workers you have to actually staff the donations.

Above average experience at this location. Like all of the plasma centers in Utah county, this location is very busy. This company could easily build several more locations and have little trouble collecting donations. Without more locations however, the donor load here is considerable. If you can go in with that mindset, then the rest of the visit is rather pleasant. The staff is mostly well trained and quick with their execution. It’s obvious that they are understaffed, but that’s most business’ these days. The higher ups get paid beyond too much to care about what’s going on, as long as their bank accounts continue to overflow. The donor payouts are generous enough, but with the wait times, it can feel less than worth it most days. Patience is required if you plan to donate on a regular basis. Overall, it’s a good experience and the staff are legendary.

Seemingly a very terribly managed business that has been going down hill ever since I started coming here a couple years ago. The wait gets longer each visit. Short staffed with no awareness that they can’t handle the number of donors showing up. Limit the donations available while you re-hire instead of having donors wait in line for 3+ hours. The only good thing they have going is the employees there are super nice. I feel bad for what management puts them through. Clearly why they have so much employee turnover.

Pay keeps going down and the wait is nothing but ridiculous now. The first few times I went I was done in an hour. Now you just wait even longer than that. No matter what time of day you go, you are waiting forever. They have so many beds empty but they never put people in them. You would think they would want to get as many people in and out as possible. And as far as the pay, why wouldn’t you want to at least keep the pay consistent to keep those who donate coming back? Just is starting to feel as though it isn’t worth it anymore between the waiting and the pay decreasing.

BioLife Plasma Donation provides an exceptional experience that exceeds all expectations. The facility itself radiates cleanliness and orderliness, which speaks volumes about their commitment to the health and safety of their donors. This clean environment puts one’s mind at ease, whether you’re a first-time or regular donor.

Every staff member looks depressed and has zero urgency. It’s clear that they don’t like working there . People could probably get out of there much quicker if the employees were actually happy to work and worked quickly

The wait time is shocking. I need to block out a minimum of 2 hours. That seems excessive to me. But now I know what to expect so the earbuds are charged and the shows are down loaded. The staff is competent and friendly just way understaffed.

I’ve been donating for two months now and came in today expecting to get in and out in an hour like usual. However, this was my second time at this Biolife location, and it was an absolutely terrible experience. First, the line took a whopping 40 minutes to go through. Second, the person who poked me seemed to have no idea what they were doing and ended up painfully digging around my vein. They tried to readjust, causing excruciating shooting pain up my arm as if it was on fire. The worst part? The machine stopped not once, not twice, but four times, and each time, a different person had to come and readjust it, causing me even more pain. As if that wasn’t enough, when my blood was being returned to me, it started leaking out onto my arm and the seat I was on. The response? A nonchalant lady who dabbed some cotton balls at it, clearly not caring about stopping the bleeding. I felt incredibly light-headed and nauseous throughout the entire ordeal. My arm turned an alarming shade of purple while they collected blood, and I began to feel weak and cold. And when they were finally finishing up, it took them an agonizing 30 minutes to unhook me. Worse of all, only got $30 for this donation. What I thought would be a one-hour experience turned into a torturous three-hour nightmare. Avoid this place at all costs!
