If it were just the friendliness of (most of) the phlebotomy staff this would be a 5 star review. By and large they’re great, especially Ky who always makes me laugh.

I decided I wanted a bit of extra cash and, although I’m not great with blood or needles, decided that donating plasma was a great idea. Nicole checked me in and was very pleasant. Then I saw Lee who was the nurse that did my physical. She was also awesome and thorough. The donation went pretty well, but near the end I started to get nauseous and light-headed. I flagged down the first person I saw who happened to be Lexi and she immediately came to help me and make sure I was okay. Still not sure if I’ll donate again just because ✨ needles ✨ but overall I had a wonderful experience.

My first day donating at the Hayden site was spectacular!!! Sean recognized me as soon as I walked in and said he would be right with me, after he finished with the donor he was assisting. Kim answered a few questions I had in my questionnaire, with some research. She explained everything she was doing and was very cheerful and had a great attitude.. Carla was the quickest, least painful needle insertion I have had, between donating plasma and when I was donating whole blood every other month for several years!! There was a bit of a wait to actually get the donation started, but it went quickly.

Had an appointment for 330 today, walked in, out of 6 computers they were only allowing one person at the computers at a time, with a large line. Not interested in a 2+ hour wait to get a chair. If we are starting the Covid restrictions again, they are better ways then bunching everyone up and only allowing 1 person at the questioners at a time.

I have been donating plasma off and on for numerous years. In all that time I’ve never had a poke feel almost unnoticeable. Carla is knowledgeable in her field and takes pride in her work. I would definitely recommend her, for anyone who is hesitant on the process of plasma donation, or anyone who wants an enjoyable interaction while donating.

Had you asked me a week ago I would have nothing but positive things to say about this center and staff. My issue even now isn’t with the staff, but rather a policy. I went for my annual physical on Monday (my third one after donating on and off for 5 years) during my physical the nurse asked if I’d ever had my belly button pierced, I answered honestly and said “yes, but I took it out in 2011 when I was pregnant with my first child.” I didn’t start donating until 2018 so the piercing had been closed for 7 years. On my initial physical it wasn’t noted as a piercing because it was a scar, not a piercing. Following my physical on Monday they have opted to permanently defer me not disclosing for said scar. If you’re considering donating make sure you disclose literally ever piercing you may have had in your entire life, regardless of whether or not it’s now closed. Had it been made clear to me that I needed to disclose piercings that were now literal scars I obviously would’ve done that. This honestly boils down to poor communication in my initial physical 5 years ago.

Friendly staff and skilled technicians. Most visits are smooth. Even when Biolife had a hiccup last week in a temporary staffing issue mixed a high influx of donors; a professional manager was able to rectify the situation. I will come back

The staff are all either great or awesome. The scheduling/planning is very weak. Sometimes the system won’t let you in if you don’t have an appt, even though the line is short. When you do make an appt it has no bearing on getting you in quickly. I’m typing this while standing behind 12 people in line. Sometimes it takes 2.5-3 hours even with an appt. When it is occasionally smooth it is about a 1.20 hour process.

I’ve been donating here for a year now off and on, and it’s been a great experience every time. Except for the rush during December and January, I haven’t experienced long waits. I’m in and out and about an hour usually. The staff is friendly (esp Nick who always remembers my name) and professional, so I always feel like I’m in good hands.

Everyone is so nice and helpful! Carla was so great getting me setup for my first appointment and Lee was so sweet during my physical. We chatted about family and life and she really made me feel comfortable.
