I had the absolute pleasure of working with Diane while donating plasma. I was nervous to do the process at first but she was so thorough, light and kind hearted that the entire experience was special. I watched her bring about such a good energy and know so many people by name that I knew I was working with someone who any company would be lucky to have. River was also thorough on point and made the experience seem less. I’ll be going back in two days and if I have more donations like that, I won’t stop.

My first experience with BioLife: a building full of people, many waiting in line. First you check in and have all your proof of identity. Ss card, driver’s license, utility bill. Then you wait. Then you’re asked what you ate and drank within the last 3 hours. If all you had was a protein shake like me, you’ll need to eat more. I brought string cheese and ate that. Make sure you also drink 6-8 glasses of water. So you’ll have to use the bathroom numerous times. Then you wait. Then you have a long questionnaire on a computer where it asks you questions about your health, medical history, who you sleep around with and share needles with, etc. Then it asks you if you understand all the risks like air getting in the tubes and a bad reaction to the citrate that they add to your blood to thin it, that it could lead to death. Explains how you’ll probably feel dizzy and lightheaded and maybe faint. Talks about seizures, etc. If you have any kind of anxiety like me, you’ll have faucet armpits. Anyway, after the questionnaire, you wait. Then you see another nurse. She follows up on the questionnaire. If you have anything that will prevent you from being able to donate, your visit has ended and you get to go home, wasting 2 hours of your life that you’ll never get back. I had emailed them previously, asking about my health conditions and they said I would have to have an appointment. Had they just answered my questions, it would have saved me from going through all that. I have heart palpitations which I take beta blockers for. I also have autoimmune disease. Those two things made me not qualify. If you do qualify, you get to spend another hour there, donating your plasma so that vampires don’t have to suck your blood. And if you have a referral (someone referred you), they don’t get any credit if they haven’t been donating 6 months and at least twice. Likewise, you won’t get credit for referring people unless you’ve been there 6 months with at least 2 donations.

I’ve been going to this location for many years. Jessie never fails at making my experience easy and painless. If you have a vein that’s hard to find, she is the one to ask for! She has always been polite and friendly no matter the circumstances.

These guys are the best. They keep the place clean and professional. Everyone is polite and helpful, and the donation process is pretty quick. Even when it’s slammed and understaffed, the longest time ever in and out was 3 hours, which for the compensation is fantastic, more often than not though I’m in and out within the hour. Top notch, I’m not going anywhere else.

Staff is friendly, especially Arisbeth. I’ve worked with her a couple times and she always does an amazing job and makes me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend her. Good place to make a little extra money and help others at the same time.

I recently had the pleasure of having my plasma drawn by Bio Life Plasma Lady Jessie, and I must say it was a positive and comfortable experience. From the moment I walked into the facility, I felt welcomed and at ease.

Helena, Jessie, and River are completely amazing. They are so friendly and personable that just makes the whole experience more comfortable and puts me at ease. The only comment I have is the play room needs to open again. It would be so much more convenient and reasonable to have my kids have somewhere to sit and wait rather than just in the seating area where they could disturb, or disrupt operations and/or be so close to other peoples bodily fluids. I also believe that opening the play room again would help increase the number of donors as well as help so many struggling parents in the aftermath of the pandemic.

Donating plasma is a great opportunity to help those in need of plasma therapies (not to mention you also get rewarded financially so it’s a complete win-win). It’s an easy process and usually takes 45 min – 1.5 hours. I have had nothing but amazing experiences at the Nampa location. The facility is clean and the staff is exceptional. I specifically would like to give Sierra high praise. She is very friendly, and her skill set is top-notch! She is a great asset to BioLife Plasma Services!
