Not sure why, but I have bad bruising after donating here. I was trying to go for the 850 deal and I’m stopping 3 donations short. They have already deferred me 24 hours for bruising but everytime I donate here I bruise badly and it’s very painful for 2 days or so each time. I have never had this issue at another facility. I’m upset I won’t complete this deal as well as the reason I cannot donate is I feel they are too rough on me. Tory is the only person that has been able to stick me and it not feel like a hot flame up my arm. I’m sorry biolife. I really tried. Maybe some other time. Last Saturday I was told the reason for my pain is that they hit a tendon or were possibly close a tendon. Very painful, it was like fire up my arm.

Great facility filled with nothing but amazing people. The building is very clean and organized, and every experience here is always so awesome. Please do not hesitate to ask for Makayla or Lisa. My experience has been great the lines can be long and take a while at times. The staff has been good and Sarah M. In the back has been great she has been putting the needle in my are for a while and it has been a great experience with her. She does her best not to hurt me when she places the needle and does it in one shot. She is very professional never rude always nice laughing and smiling she keeps her person very clean, always changes her gloves when ever she moves to a different donor. She has not caused me any pain or discomfort and always asks if I am ok before she attends another donor. Thank you for being good at what you do and helping me make the donation process easy and fun.

The greeters, screeners, and phlebotomists were extremely helpful and diligent. Tasha and Lazarus were wonderful nurses, and they were a delight during the physical exam part of the new donor orientation. I feel absolutely lucky and blessed to have this place as my home donor location.

Sarah M. has been the only person that has stuck me with no issues. I have small veins so she is the only one that I trust after having someone else give me a hematoma. Also Ms. Tree is always very kind and helpful. Everybody is kind but those are the two people that stick out the most to me.

BioLife Abilene is a great location to donate! The center is clean and they’re always playing interesting tunes! As a return donor, the donation process is quick (Tuesdays and Saturday afternoons are a bit busier). The staff are always nice, knowledgeable, and efficient! Lindsey, Sarah, Sasha, and Ro are awesome Technicians! The bearded guy who likes the Seattle Seahawks is pretty cool too. I will definitely be frequenting this center as donor!
