There’s a lot of misleading comments about this place. The staff are super friendly, all things considered. It’s their job to keep a very clean and calm environment, and make sure there is nothing that will contaminate the donations supply. Some people don’t seem to understand the importance of not being sick while they’re there.

They are constantly understaffed. The lines are constantly long. Half of the staff are rude/dismissive to the point I feel engaging them in a conversation is an intrusion to them.

The entire staff is always so friendly. They make sure you are comfortable. If it’s your first time they will make sure you are comfortable and will walk you through the whole process. Be sure to take a couple of hours out for your day if it’s your first time.

The employees that work there are rude and very unprofessional. When you’re waiting for your return to be done. The associates know that you’re done. They do it on purpose and make you wait. I’ve over heard them say that amongst themselves. That is so inconsiderate and very very rude. They need to be fired or retrained.

Wish I could do three and a half but this place is mostly good I’ve only had maybe two or three negative experiences and I’ve been going since 2018. I do think that with the price of plasma they could be paying us more but the costumer service is good! Love the older lady in the front and the one with big glasses and I’ve even had some sticks that were almost painless! Clean around but sometimes the bathrooms are meh but I don’t use them here often.

Wait time is ridiculous in the Kyle location. I stopped coming during Covid due to the wait, it’s 2022 and the wait time to get checked is still the same. HIRE more people or don’t over schedule people. My appointment was at 3pm and it’s 3:40 with only 2 people checking vitals and 12 people in front of me. Why have 8 vital desk and there’s only 2 people?! Do better!!!

I spend an hour on the line because there were only two technicians doing the test. And they don’t have any hurry. They make you waste time. It’s better the one on north Austin.

Since the first time, it’s has always been over an hour and half to get through. The first appointment took more than two hours. Very unfriendly staff. It’s very unfortunate that people are wanting to donate but get treated like children when you step through the doors. After reading the reviews.. I should have gone to some place different. Not worth the time and frustration for the amount you will make.

Where do I begin. As a full time student I saw this as the perfect opportunity to cover some of the extra costs of living. My first appointment the staff was welcoming. The nurse on site gave me the opportunity to donate another day, since he believed I did not eat the right meal to donate. I agreed and came back two days later where I was turned down because my pulse was 112. Considering they had me waiting and I’m an anxious person yea it’s a little high. But others warned me prior this is what they do so they don’t have to stay over and actually do their job. Extremely disappointed with the lack knowledge from staff. Oh and the nurse said the people working don’t know what they’re doing so take that as you will.
