I’ve been coming to BioLife since 2019 . I’ve seen so many faces come and go but I must say everyone always took care of me . There is two nurses that are totally amazing Selena and Grace. since the time they’ve worked there they’ve always took good care of me! . They are so caring when it comes to the donor always takes the time to greet and welcome everyone. I know there are other plasma centers out there but they are the reason I keep returning. I want to say thank you and most of all I wish to thank Grace. She lights up the room with her amazing smile! Will continue to come to BioLife!!!!!

Horrible experience today! I went for my 3rd donation and a female named Lizette stuck me to begin the process to take the plasma. She looked tired and was shaking. She was wiggling the needle inside my vain! It hurt really bad ! I asked her to stop and that I no longer trusted her. Another tech named Leo (who does a great job) adjusted it. Unfortunately the damage was done. Another tech with blonde hair said she felt a hematoma, which is blood suffusion is a localized bleeding outside of blood vessels, due to either disease or trauma including injury or surgery and may involve blood continuing to seep from broken capillaries. I was not able to complete my donation. I was very upset! I asked for the supervisor. She took my complaint and lacked empathy. She did not appear like she cared at all! I asked for a record of my complaint and she just said she will look into it. I am never going back again! I was supposed to get $120 . They only gave me $20! WATCH YOUR TECH ! IF THEY LOOK FATIGUED OR SHAKING, ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO STICK YOU! It is either a lack of training or management pushing them to hard. The young lady appeared to need a break or to eat something.

I have donated twice now and very good experience overall. Yes, there will be a wait if you go at busy times. But if you divide the money you are making by the hour or hours you spend there it’s a great pay out in my opinion. Staff are friendly and the donation area appears very sanitary. Yes, the staff may move at a casual pace but give them a break, they see hundreds of patients each day. I personally have had a great experience here and really hope it continues to go well!

No matter which appointment you make these ppl are not very organized. They make you make an appointment and it still takes over an hour to just get ur vitals then you have to sit around another hour waiting for a bed. Then another 45mins donating. There is no extra compensation for their obvious poor management. None of the other plasma donating places does appointment’s and don’t take hours to complete the process. Mgr is also very rude. I got a emergency call about my 5yr old and she just couldn’t get the hell out of my conversation with the school. Had enough balls to try and correct my language, umm lil girl I’m 20yrs older than you I suggest you check yourself. Poor time management just poor management altogether.

Staff needs better training. They have u make appointments for nothing pretty much. And when u go for a physical takes forever to make appointment, but when u finally get one and go. They make up excuses on why they can’t see u rite away saying there waiting on staff to show up. Then why do they schedule the appointment for so earlie when there’s no one there. Usually got to wait an hour just to see nurse. And it’s evertime.

I just started coming here. Don’t miss your appointments, or it’ll mess up on the app and on their systems; I had an altercation with a Rude Nurse, that kept claiming I was giving plasma at another center, when I’ve only been here. Saying “the system isn’t wrong” I told her I’ve only been coming here, which is true. I had no words or response. Only of the proof that it says that is bcus of screenshots of the app and appointments that I missed and rescheduled there in person. The rude nurse saying that I would get a deferred if it continues, when it’s their system that is not accurate. If you miss an appointment, if you reschedule on the app, it’ll think you have plasma and make you wait 2-4 days. All I did was miss my appointment by several minutes.

Sadly, I will not be returning unless staff is effectively given priority disability education. I tried twice to donate and was turned away both times due to high heart rate . I understand that BUT I tried to communicate that making me go in circles and transferring in and out of my chair would increase my heart rate. I was not listened to. The staff has claimed they have accessible access stations but refused to work with me. I am not one to to use my condition as an excuse at all. Please do better .

Staff is completely unprofessional and need more training. I complained of pain at the needle site and instead of helping the tech who was obviously frustrated for being bothered shoved the needle back in more and walked away. Staff is more concerned with complaining about work and talking about vacation instead of pt safety. Definitely done with this facility!

My experiences here range from awful to great. There are definitely staff who enjoy their job and helping people more than others, but that’s the case anywhere. The line to be prescreened and the wait times for a bed after you’ve been prescreened are the worst parts. Once your hooked up, the time goes by quickly and they do their best to get you disconnected and on your way. Factor in that on the second donation each week you’re getting between $20-$30 an hour for lying there and it’s not that bad.
