If i could rate zero i would, i WAS a first time donor, made my appointment, got there 5 minutes early, signed in and waited. And waited and waited and waited. I had done everything right, had 3 bottles of water before i left the house and ate a healthy breakfast. I had waited in the lobby for 2 hours, and got a 1 day deferment because my veins werent popping enough and i needed more water. I only needed more water cause i had to wait 2 hours for something that took 5 minutes. We aren’t experiencing a shortage of donors, we are experiencing a shortage in efficient staff at donor centers.

I’m rating a 2 because they don’t answer the phone. I called over 24 times and no answer. I came in and called and they don’t even have their phones ringing and they have a front desk person… so why is the phone on silent? Why are calls not being answered?? Had to drive down to get an answer when it could have been done over the phone. Also, they are understaff for all the available appointments. They have two full sections/colors not used and a line of 15+, just meant a they don’t have the staff. On top of that, some BioLife establishments you need an appointment and some you don’t, this one specifically you do. Just fyi.

I donated plasma today and I had to wait over 15 minutes to be taken down, literally. When I raised my hand, the phlebotomist told that she is only one person give her a second. This is after she disconnected to other donors in the same bay and then proceeded to wipe down the chairs afterwards. The two donors that were disconnected before me finished donating at nearly the same time. All three of us we’re waiting. I just so happen to be the that she, for whatever deliberately ignored until I raised my hand. Since I’ve been donating here I haven’t had any issues prior to this. The only problem that I have that is consistent is having to wait to be disconnected. I don’t expect to be taken down as soon as the machine beeps. It just comes across as if they just ignore you.

Not sure if I pissed someone off but I’ve been here since 4:30 and I’m still not hooked up. People who were behind me are almost done with their donation and I’m still waiting to be hooked up. This is ridiculous or there’s some serious lack of communication.

Way understaffed. Minimum 2-3 Hr wait for normal donation … 3-4 Hr wait for new donors. 25 people in line even though my appt was almost an hour ago.

Absolutely amazing experience…caring and well trained staff, and a great way to make a little extra cash while I help others in need of plasma. The time it takes is VERY RESONABLE! You just have to be smart and learn the less busy times. There are lots of great times where I am easily in and out in an hour. Lastly, I love the camaraderie between the staff and the staff with donors!!

It was fine before but recently the crowd is ridiculous. I had to walk out on two appointments already. I don’t have time to stand in line for hours. I loved the easy money and staff who work here are nice but the wait is so long.

(Ashley) Started last month as new donor, the first time there got to skip the long line. The next two donations after the fact of waiting in line for 3 hours another person told me I was suppose to have been able to skip the first three times. So they dont inform everyone of the rules before hand, make sure to ask for them. This place is the cleanest and neatest I have seen, but the wait time is horrible. I would give CSL/BioMat A1 compared to this place. After our new donor fees for me and the hubby, we will be returning to BioMat. The staff here move very slow at everything, there wouldnt be long wait times, if they didnt stop and joke around every second. I believe they also overbook appointments, you are required to be there within 10 minute graceperiod before and after, but really there is no need because you will stand for atleast an hour then another atleast an hour before getting to the table to sit and wait. Good Luck

My first impressions were good but they don’t handle crowds or problems so very well. This extends the length of wait time. The wait time is a problem. I really have a hard time getting more than an hour and a half into my schedule frequently.
