3 hours it took, with an appointment because the girl there wanted to give her autobiography to everyone there. Then file a complaint because people aren’t nice about your long boring story and don’t want anything else from her mouth. 3 hours of being bored and irritated then wants to verbal vomit even more, after that? No get me out of here!!!!! Fire this person immediately!!! Sat and watched the others not in her line come in and leave before I could even get started. Less talk. More work. Boo

This location has been great when I go for my visits and that’s why i didn’t give it a 1 star but my boyfriend went in for his first time today and did not have a good experience. Once he laid down on the bed it went downhill. First the person who stuck him kept saying she didn’t want to do this and kept saying she was nervous. It’s already nerve wrecking to go but to have a nurse saying that in front of you makes it so much worse. Then halfway through some other person came to check on him and adjusted the needle and he started feeling lightheaded and was sweating profusely. They took it out, watched him for 20 minutes and he came home. After maybe and hour and a half he was feeling discomfort so we unwrapped it and he started bleeding again. They tell you to call them if anything happens and that’s what we did. It was almost 6 pm and no one had answered the phone, I called 4 times back to back. So naturally we decided to go up to the office and let them know what was happening and what we needed to do. Well we walked in and there was no receptionist at the front, she was off to the side helping another guy register a new patient and like after 5 minutes she turned around and said she’ll be with us in a minute and we waited an additional 3 minutes. She finally comes up to us and we tell her what is going on, she says that the nurses are really busy and we would have to wait for a while until someone can come talk to us. We wait cause we don’t know what to do at this point. So when the nurse comes out to talk to us we tell her what happened and in a very condescending tone says “ that’s why we tell you to wait 2-4 hours”. It seemed very evident that we were wasting her time. I had told her that we tried calling per their instructions and no one answered so we had no other choice but to come in and she just shrugged her shoulders and said it’s probably cause of the blood thinners. I had asked her what she recommended to do to help the healing process and she just said ice it. We asked her what to do in case I’d does not stop bleeding and she said go to the urgent care and call us in the morning with in update. Really?! I have never met anyone with such a disregard to someone’s health. She needs to be more empathetic especially if it’s a persons first time.

I drove 1 hour in hopes to be a donor today. My blood pressure and pulse were checked by an automated machine. My pulse read 102 the first time and 112 the second time. I asked if there was a nurse available to check vital signs as manual machines are for convenience, not accuracy. The lab attendant said no and that I was not able to donate today. She doesn’t know that I’m actually a nurse, I manually checked my pulse and it was 95. How does a medical facility not have a nurse available to check things like this? As a licensed medical professional, that is dangerous and concerning. Not having trained techs that are capable of taking a manual pulse or blood pressure is dangerous as well. If there had been an emergency, what would a tech be able to do? Do they rely on one nurse that was not there? I am glad that I can watch out for myself and my health because it does not appear anyone else can. I will say that every other time I’ve been to the facility, I was impressed with the cleanliness and other than today everyone has seemed competent.

I had donated here many times, with not hardly any issues, then had a hematoma, which I know is normal, and it happens, but then I would think about it, and my heart rate would rise when I got there, so it was always hit and miss whether I would be able to give or not, and then the last time I was there I seen they were training someone but was being supervised, so I tried to say pretty chill about it, but the experience wasn’t the greatest, which caused me not to be able to go back the second time so I ended up with $40 and so far a bruise is lasted two weeks , and my husband wanting me not to return

Went in for my appointment tonight and ended up getting turned away. I completely understand the employees not having the ability to get everyone done. But why are there so many appointments available… more than they could possibly finish. Your scheduling system is messed up. You have people waiting for an hour that got turned away. Complete waste of time.

Overall great. Jayci was awesome. However, when 3 people complete their donations AFTER me, why am I the last to be unhooked?? Not first time. And can someone please explain the new donor policy? Wouldn’t it be better to set new donor times two days during the week and half day on Saturday or Sunday? Many people are and have been faithful donors and don’t get squat as compared to new donors.

This place has a total disgregard of peoples time. Make an appointment as a new donor but do not expect to get checked in until at minimum an HOUR after your appointment. This is the very first step before meeting with the nurse, before the physical and before the donation. I will never be back here.

The facility is super clean and I love that the machines show you your progress as you are going along. The cycles are short so the process doesn’t take as long to complete!

I am not an easy stick. Been that way since a child. Many see me and know it’s a 50/50 shot. Then I met Mrs. Sylvia. She is top tier when it comes to sticking me. Great knowledge, great success rate, excellent communication throughout the entire process, excellent personality and always positive. She makes coming in less stressful for me. Thank you Mrs. Sylvia.
