Scholastic Book Fair
Everyone was really nice and helpful, it was a full house today. The education says that first time donors should be done within 2 hours but it took almost 5 for me. It’s a new facility and they’re still getting their bearings so it’s understandable. Hope they get into a more efficient routine as time goes on but it wasn’t a bad experience. Will be back.

I was apprehensive about my first visit for physical and donation but all apprehension ceased the moment I walked through the doors. The facility is immaculate, newly renovated, clean, and inviting. The staff is warm and welcoming. It was as though I were visiting family. The center was extremely busy and everyone’s focus was on the tasks at hand. Because it was so busy, the screening and physical portions were the most time consuming and long. The actual donation time is approximately 40 minutes. It’s well worth the time to help someone in need. One day it could be you!

The center is very nice. The ladies keeps the area very neat and trash free. My sister told me to ask for Trioce because my veins are small. No doubt she’s the best. I laugh my entire donation. She’s definitely has a cheerful spirit and take proud in her work.

Amazing experience . It was my first time donating and every single staff member was beyond friendly. They answered all my questions and made sure to check on me throughout every step even when I was waiting. For a brand new location with the craziness of a grand opening, it was all very organized and SO CLEAN!

Spent 6 weeks acquiring the needed documents to satisfy their “concerns” only to be rejected on the last document. Not once did they call me to keep me abreast of the status involving any of the multiple documents and once they informed me of the permanent deferral, all I received was a cold shoulder from their staff nursing members. Biolife only wants the cream of the crop and if there is a possibility of issues arising, your kicked to the curb.

I was here Saturday( opening day) the wait was very long(which I expected due to grand opening). The staff was very professional and facility is very clean. What stood out to me the most was, I was stuck by a technician but with only my facial expressions the second technician approached(I think her name was Joyce or Troyce) and took over. I was stuck a second time by her but I didn’t even know she had stuck me. Probably the best stick I’ve had at a plasma center.Great teamwork skills. I’ll definitely continue to donor at BioLife-Lafayette.
