I put off donating plasma for a year because reading reviews freaked me out… BioLife, in particular. I decided to just do it, and it was nothing like the reviews I read.

During my second attempt, It has come to my attention that I have been placed on “deferrals” for 6 months and suddenly not eligible to donate, due to being “hospitalized within the 30 days of donation” the first time I applied. I did not sign anything nor had been notified confirming I was ineligible. I was told the release for would be faxed to the doctor regarding my last visit and I would be clear to continue the process. Foremost, there is nothing sited, I have not signed any documentation of my medical information being “stored” or hoarded in the company’s system during the process of registration for months in the event of not being able to donate.

Staff is amazing! This company needs to treat their employees better and quit playing with the donors pay! Smfh this is ridiculous. It goes from $140 a week to $110 but you are getting the same amount of plasma smfh want new donors but can’t keep the donors you have.

So I called yesterday to ask wether my id would be accepted even though I just moved a week ago from Texas. And was waiting on my change of address to go through. And to receive my confirmation from it. I was told it wouldn’t be a problem if I brought certain required documents. I even made sure to stress the fact that I lived an hour away from the donation center and that I wouldn’t be able to make it home and asked several times if my paperwork I did have would be adequate AND WAS TOLD YES MULTIPLE TIMES BY THE LADY I N THE PHONE BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT WAS MADE!!!! So I made the appointment AND DROVE THE HOUR TO GET THERE… low and behold I was turned away and ended up STRANDED ON THE HIGHWAY FOR HOURS BECAUSE I RAN OUT OF GAS TRYING TO GET HOME….. these people here are nothing but rude. And the manager on duty was super rude when I started questions why I couldn’t donate like I was and the heavy set black girl legit was like yeah “I told you it was fine I think I talked to you yesterday but I didn’t say with a texas Id” which is a bold face lie cause it was legit the first words out of my mouth when she answered the phone. Either way this place is unhelpful, rude and a whole joke. I would have given zero stars if I could as a direct result of the staff interaction I received.. and highly recommend Biolife corporate restaff some of these workers that think this type of behavior is ok.

Place is a joke, Nurses are on some power trip! Husband was turned away because they believed he was under the influence due to him looking exhausted from working with concrete all day before came into donate. Apparently his pupils weren’t “dilating with the light correctly” so they flat out accused him of using drugs when my husband DOES NOT USE ANY DRUGS AT ALL. Nurse laughed in my husbands face as well when he replied to there accusation “that maybe there’s a health issue behind pupils not reacting correctly.” Rude & very discriminative.

The people here work hard and are kind. Sometimes bloodwork can make me and other people nervous, and it helps to have someone nice help you through the process. Just be nice and patient yourself and you’re almost guaranteed to have a easy donation experience here.

The employees lack basic fundamentals in the autonomy of the body. Most of the staff acts in a caviler manner and doesn’t have common courtesies to even each other. Staff should be retrained in the area of blood and people skills.

Wouldn’t register me because my SSC was ripped off in the corner but you could still see the numbers on my social security card!!! This is sush trash! Worst place ever! Everyone go to CSL and donate, they took my insurance when it was ripped like this. I wish u could give this half a star not even.

The best plasma center I have ever visited. Extremely professional and very efficient. The cleanest I have ever seen in one of these places.

few of the front desk ladies when doing vitals are seriously unhappy people and extremely unfriendly and non-professional. But the phlebotomists in the back are spectacular and always nice.
