I enjoy donating plasma. It is easy, the staff I’ve gotten to know by name and vice versa. It’s not a money thing rather it makes me feel good knowing I’m helping someone else and it’s close to my work. I just hit 100 donations and I guess my only compliant is that I wish there was a little more appreciation of hitting certain milestones like that!

Employees are good. On the other hand, due to having ptsd I can not donate without doctors’ approval beyond speechless. That’s why veterans do not disclose info, because heaven for bid ptsd can be passed on to others through blood. Also, most of us with PTSD do not need meds, so it’s not like our blood is tainted with meds.

Everyone at the Rib Mountain(Wausau area) is very friendly and professional. At times they are very busy and I am sure overwhelmed, buy always pleasant. Keep up the great work!!

Yeah they seem to be pretty understaffed, I mean if you go any time past 3:00 pm expect to be there for at least an hour 45 minutes, which may not seem terrible but even in the mornings when they have tons of openings they still seem to be frantically trying to service all the donators. And also I’d say about 50% of the time I go in to donate I end up with someone who doesn’t really know what they’re doing and they end up messing up the needle somehow and my arm is bruised and sore for a good week after. Almost makes you not want to even donate which is a shame cause it is a great service.

Make sure you let them know before you leave to grab head phones or anything you need for donation especially if you drive an hour to donate because you will be deferred until the next day

If you are thinking easy money? Think again. They are understaffed and the woman I had the opportunity to work with was rude, unprofessional and lacked knowledge of her job. She struggled with the blood pressure cuff and . Argued with me that my driver license had the wrong address on it ( because Google says it’s different) After that she took my blood pressure and it was 230. I wonder why.?? I canceled right after that knowing my pressure is not coming down there.
