The staff here are amazing! I am a returning donor and had a physical today with Tasha. Tasha was extremely thorough and although she had many things/people to tend to, including an emergent need, she was certain to make sure I was comfortable while I waited. Post-donation, I experienced some nausea and lightheadedness, likely due to not eating enough in the morning but both Tasha and Jenna (I believe that’s her name) ensured that I was feeling healthy before leaving. I will continue to return to this location because of the wonderful staff that work here!

Most of the staff are patient and kind. Especially Charlotte, Carson, Randy and Austin. I donate often and it makes it much easier and fun to talk with the staff and get to know them. Facility is clean and the staff are always trying their best to get through the lines. Thank you!

I’ve donated for more than a decade at various BioLife locations. This location seems to be well kept and have well trained staff. I’d give them 5 stars, but unfortunately it seems like I consistently have difficulty scheduling appointments. When I do schedule an appointment I often end up waiting for more than a half hour to be admitted. Great location, just not very respectful of my time. Plan accordingly 🙂

staff is great I have donated a few times. there has been an issue with my labs I have had to provide these three times and no results of the 3 visits I have been in the office over 2 hours each time due to this and last time not even able to donate because there is no information on my labs and had to supply another test. I received a call Friday that there was no results again!!!! 3 times now with no way to explain why or how??? I am trying to determine if I should even try anymore. its been a large amount of time to try to donate and now its a me just donating my blood sample and time hope that the lab will finally provide the results back to the center.

I have been donating for over a year now and while most of the staff is really kind I have had issues with a very rude nurse who I tried to avoid at all cost, even passing him in the hall is a bad experience. This Madison east location also has issues with very long wait times and it is hard to gauge if the process is going to take about 45mins as it should or over 2hrs because they are understaffed for the amount of appointments higher up’s force them to make available. This over scheduling also leads to issues during the donation process going unattended because the person in the section is consistently unhooking, setting up and hooking up the rotation of people waiting. Biolife should also offer promotions for returning customers. Instead they lure you in with the larger “new donor” payments however they decrease significantly once that is over and what you use to get for 1 donation is more than what 2 donations in a week is the rest of your time. It’s hard to motivate someone to keep donating if they are wasting time waiting in lines and not getting compensated properly for it

I felt that I was well taken care for. Tasha was amazing at her job! She knew her material and made me feel safe.

This location is so poorly run compared to Stevens Point it’s embarrassing. The co-chatter between the staff being super unprofessional for a medical setting or the serious wait times even with a scheduled appointment. Every time I’ve been in there’s a chair full of blood being cleaned up. I think I’ll just drive 90 minutes north to donate. Little tip BioLife Madison, the thermometer shouldn’t be touched by every person donating without sterilization. Maybe just maybe, have the professional with the sterile gloves take the temperature like they do up north.

If you’re looking to make some extra money, you can do a lot worse than selling your plasma. While the base rate per visit is fairly low ($40) there are often special offers (called “coupons”) which are more lucrative. And also, for a first time donor you make $120 per visit for a month, I believe. You can donate twice a week.

This place is a complete joke! If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve called with questions and left 12 messages over the span of 4 days and nobody could call me back.I guess they really don’t care about the patients they have or the lives they save. As well as what is the point of making an appointment if? You get there and they only have one person taking your vitals so that means there is a line of 12 people. So the appointment that they made me place is now going to be at least 30 minutes later. For those of us that have jobs that require us to work different shifts. If we put in an appointment we expect to be taken care of at that time. As well as when you’re presented with coupons and offers for the month or for a certain number of donations when they don’t have appointments available for you to make how in God’s name are you supposed to qualify for the offer they presented? I think everybody should go to interstate plasma over by M ATC truax campus. They actually care about people. They actually take people in a timely fashion and they answer the phone when people call. As well as most of the time they’re offering 10 to $20 more than this joke of a trashy place.
