My first donation was a great experience! Cheryl took such good care of me I never had to worry about anything. She explained everything to me. Everyone else, including Matthew the RN were knowledgeable and patient with me being a first time donor. I already have my next seven appointments made. Everyone should give this life saving fluid so others can heal and live.

I have to agree with a previous review regarding staff experience. Place is nice, staff is nice, but you go in each time worrying if you can successfully donate. I have only gone 4 times, second time needle wasn’t in correctly resulting in a black and blue arm, fourth time same thing and I cannot go back for 8 weeks. Blood was dripping from arm when inserted. My wife only successfully donated 5 out of 8 times, each time on how the needle was inserted and now can’t go back for 8 weeks. My daughter, same thing, and my daughter’s boyfriend was unsuccessful his only attempt to donate, and I have seen two other people while there. It is kind of ridiculous that something you would think would be so basic isn’t being done correctly.

Opening day process was very long, but everyone was super sweet. Savannah did a great job with my draw, Lia came around for extra help and was also sweet. Everyone helped each other. Looking forward to future SHORTER donations. Also thanks to Amber and Andrew for getting me unhooked. Bring a blanket!!

Visits this location quite often. Notice some staff at the checking area do not change their gloves between donors. For example, I visited this center on 9/7/2023 and while on the queue waiting, I observed a particular staff member (Sierra) attended to a donor, finished and clean the surface area, and without changing her gloves, called in the next denor and proceeded to take samples of their blood, blood pressure, and weight. I was so happy I didn’t have to go to her, and Thank God the staff who attended to me changed her gloves before call me to do my checking.

Savanna was such a sweetheart during the entire process. From the time I sat in the chair until I was completely finished with my donation. Amber was great during my physical portion of being a new donor. Very clean place!

The first two times were a long process but overall went ok. Today I went back for my third donation and what a mess. Not one staff member came to ask if everything was going ok after I started the donation. At the end of my donation I had to sit well over 10 minutes to get disconnected. Erin, the phlebotomist that was working with me kept talking to another donor for what felt like forever and never came back to disconnect me. Thankfully another kind man named Thomas came over to assist me and was shocked at the lapsed time on the machine from when I completed my donation. It’s not even like this was a busy time as there were multiple seats open and Erin had at least over 10 minutes to talk to the other donor. Some people need customer service skills and when you are in health care, assessing your patients are important as many reactions can occur. Don’t know if I’ll be back.

The Pewaukee location is clean and staff is extremely friendly and pleasant. Just like the other comments, out of the 7 times I have donated, about half were successful. My very first donation, the tube wasn’t clipped and blood spewed everywhere and on my clothes. I was offered reimbursement for dry cleaning, but I didn’t need it thankfully. Also, in that same session, it was switched to my other arm and I got a hematoma and had to wait eight weeks. My third donation, the connecting tube wasn’t secured properly and blood spewed everywhere again, even on my clothes. I was offered reimbursement for dry cleaning, but I didn’t need it. My seventh donation, I got another hematoma and had to switch arms and it was successful. I would love to continue to contribute in saving lives, but not at the expense of my own health. I will most likely donate once every several months.

Could not even tell this was day 2 of operation! I had previously been going to Milwaukee but this new location is closer. I was in and out in less than an hour! Savannah and Oliver were super friendly on the floor and Savannah set up my most comfortable donation ever.

Facility ran really well with welcoming and kind staff. Savannah took care of me, she was extremely nice and made sure I was doing OK. This seemed like a great spot for a new location!

I used to donate with csl plasma, after my last experience I thought I was never going to donate again. When I saw this place open up so close to home I decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. It was a very clean environment with a very friendly and attentive staff. I had to do a physical as well as donate and I was in and out in exactly 2 hrs that’s the fastest I’ve experienced but it still didn’t feel rushed. My phlebotomist was amazing I literally couldn’t feel the needle and I didn’t even bruise which I always do. I will definitely be coming back.
