Had a rollercoaster of an experience! 8 years ago was my initial sit down, could not donate right then there due to a recent tattoo. Finally got to donate today after having troubles yesterday with nurse Tina, come to find out she’s had several complaints from other customers (after my visit) and turned me down for the smallest thing possible because she thought I was too anxious when really I was rubbing my hands because I was cold in the building, I was sleep deprived, taking my hat on and off to get ready for the physical but then she misinterpreted all of those as nervousness, rudely dismissed me in mid conversation strictly making her mind up to not send me out to donate smh. Lmao so don’t get her or request her. Receptionist Darlene and Nicole and all the other technicians including the new nurse Caroline I had today were very nice and personable/ attentive. I got the chance to come back in the next morning and donate finally. Tess the manager is also a very sweet understanding individual and comped me a little extra for the inconvenience of my first visit and waste of time the previous day. (I was half way through the new donor protocol and spent a couple hours already just to do it all again returning this morning.) The building is very clean, felt comfortable with majority of the staff, all technicians were very approachable, friendly and informative. Felt great to be a new donor and provide healthy plasma to those in need, the money is a plus not just 100% what I’m coming in and drawing blood for. I love to help and giveback to those in need. I felt much better from the sympathy and sincerety from staff who truly cared.

I went today for my first plasma donation and had a stress free trip. The staff was super friendly and explained everything along the way and the whole process. The procedure itself was a lot like giving blood was pain free and easy. Would recommend checking them out if you are wanting to try.

It is clean and efficient, and the staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. They explain everything thoroughly every time that I come in, and always ask me if I have any questions or concerns. They are careful with the IV equipment and insertion into my arm and also removal, and are always with gloves and masks or plastic face shields to make me feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for a few months now. Everyone is always very friendly and usually upbeat. They do their best to get you in and out in a timely manner. Shout out to Taylor and Derek, who are always so kind and pleasant. All of the phlebotomists are great!!

All staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming! I had the privilege of being taken care of by Leann. She was positive, funny and felt like a friend! I ended up having a reaction, but Leann and a couple of her coworkers responded quickly and made sure I was feeling better in no time! Thank you for a positive experience 🙂

95% of the time, it’s a pleasant experience and I love donating here, but you can always tell when you’re going to get a hematoma and deferred for 2 weeks because of nervous, unconfident, staff. If a team member genuinely needs more training because he’s nervous, always needs a manager’s help resetting needles, consistently sends people home early because he pokes them wrong, and hands out hematomas like he’s getting paid for it, give him more training or cut him loose. Don’t do nothing with such a serious matter.

This is a great place to donate plasma. They try to fit you in earlier if you arrive before your appointment and usually it isn’t a long wait. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete all my new donor donations due to pulse/blood pressure issues but at least I know I need to work on that for my own health. Taylor was great..he was super friendly and was able to poke me without any bruising. I would recommend to others!

Leann, Mani, Nicole, Valarie caroline. Those ladies made my first time “smooth like butter”. Seriously I can’t thank them enough for making this experience comfortable and making sure I knew what was going on and checking in on me. Definitely helps me feel safe to come back. Thank you so much!

This place is so awesome. Every phlebotomist I’ve had over the last 2 years has been amazing. It’s very clean and they decorate for each season/holiday which just points to the level of care and attention to detail. A good portion of the staff know something about me and strike up conversation even if they are not working directly with me. Taylor always goes out of his way to say hi, he’s a total bawse. The music is always good and different every time I go. BioLife is a step above other plasma centers and the Grandville site is next level on top of that.
