At first, I thought the warren location was much better. I Switched over to the Detroit location a few months ago. Despite service being slow at times, none of the staff there act unprofessionally. They all engage in conversation and keep a great environment. I also note that the plasma workers there consistently keep that place clean. They are very good at multi tasking. I do not agree that this place is a bad place. Every business has its flaws, right? Keep Up the good work

Great service! Friendly staff! S. John’s service was top tier! Such a sweet women with a heart of gold! She kept checking on me and making sure I was ok! The other ladies as well are just as sweet! You’ll leave here feeling better then when you come in! ☺️ It was my 1st time and they all made the process a easy, friendly experience. Definitely recommend!

Probably one of the worst donating centers I’ve gone to. There is no point to their scheduling system because you’ll regularly spend 2+ hours here just waiting in line. Only doing 2 stars because the staff for the most part is nice.

The young people here so nice and knowledgeable I had to wait two hours with my appointment and the computer went down they were so patient and understanding with everyone wanting to be seen. I’m bringing a few people back next week. Thank you bio life for compensation and caring for your donors

1st disappointment is no phone service for new donor’s or returning 1’s. 2nd disappointment is lack of adequate staffing needed to help reduce the wait time for returning donors which typically takes approximately 2hrs each visit. 3rd disappointment and my biggest is their tricky promotional $800 coupon for new donors in big bold print. The very small print tells you that you only have 30 days to make a minimum of 8 donations to receive the entire $800, which is the cloudy part because the center is only 20 days a month currently, and you can only donate 2 days per 7 days. On my last required appointment 8 of 8 and $110 left to receive for my last payout of my new donor $800 coupon. Upon finishing my final 2hr donation process, I returned home and checked my reloadable debit card they give you which is how they payout, when my card showed a payment for only $65 I was shocked bcuz the previous 7 card deposits were on point! But of course I couldn’t call back to inform BioLife a error seemed to have occurred. Since the only way you can communicate with staff is in person, so I had to make a 9th donation appointment in order to discuss the short payout with a staff member only to be told my payout was correct because their system showed I didn’t complete my requirements for the coupon’s 30 day incentive. I complained that I never missed an appointment! I donated twice a week for 4 weeks! When they looked up my donor history the excuse I was given is that my 8th donation was 1 day past my coupons 30 day expiration date! Unbelievable! Keep in mind this location is only open 20 business days a month, but their coupons only show a 30 day expiration with no distinction to 30 calendar days or 30 business days and because being allowed to 2 donations every 7 days and with them being closed Sunday’s and Monday’s their business weeks differ from a normal calendar week!!! So when I expressed my common sense that the coupon out of fairness to new donors and build donor loyalty the 30 days should be specific as to their methodology for systematically counting days. Location mgr claimed to understand my issues from the absence of phone operations despite they advertise 2 different numbers online but they just ring when called, however she’s not allowed access to the company’s reloadable card system and only corporate can issue me the $45 credit the system denied. I was offered a suggestion card, she promised to forward to corporate to review my complaints, so instead of waiting 2 – 3 wks for a response I donated 1 more week 2x to recoup the value of the incentive. I more than likely won’t be back, because I found a competitor that’s open 7days a week and a 35 day $850 new donor coupon!

Do you have endless hours to kill sitting around in waiting rooms to be forgotten about? Do you crave being talked to like you’re an idiot? Do you enjoy being gas lit and lied to just because the manager has no idea what they’re doing? Well come on down to Biolife Detroit where you’ll get all that and more! At one point I was told they aren’t able to change your main donor location , you can only do that thru the app… well that’s not the case you can only change it at the desk in person, but it’s not like anyone will answer the phone here anyways to tell you any of that
