Honestly I would not ever go here.

The staff is very friendly at this location. The reason for 4/5 stars is because usually they seem to be understaffed, and appointments can take longer than usual. As long as I avoid evening and weekend appointments, things go smoothly. But everyone there does a great job regardless. and the company itself is great. It feels great to be able help others, and that extra money doesn’t hurt either. BioLife has the best pay around for plasma donations.

All the employees here are very friendly. My first 2 visits went pretty smoothly, the third and fourth I was there over 2 hours each time. They are short staffed. I have donated at other facilities in the past and this place is by far the cleanest and like I said the staff are very friendly. If you a little extra cash this is where to go…

The whole staff is A-1. Seriously… I donated because a friend asked me, so she could get a referral bonus. Next thing I know, I’m a regular donator. I want to give a special shoutout to Ms. Hollis, Steve, Jimmy, and Ethan. These employees definitely make the donors as well as myself feel at ease with their wit, humor, and kindness. You got a good group of associates at the Warren location.

While I did not qualify to donate plasma here, the staff are friendly and do their absolute best to serve people. I witnessed one of the managers just yesterday (09/12) dealing with someone at their front desk who clearly had bad mental issues and was giving them such an unnecessary hard time over something very small (I could tell), and he spent 20-30 minutes up at the desk complaining. The staff remained patient, calm, and professional. I wish I got the chance to tell the staff in person how well they handled the situation (and I believe it was the manager, a shorter woman with big glasses). I also heard that Tuesday and Sundays are the busiest days so avoid those! Even though the waiting is long they do their best to move people along.

The check in process on the computer needs to be better streamlined. Why ask the same questions that a person just answered 2-3 days ago about something in the last 6 months?! The lady at vitals was great but then 8am and I’m in line almost a half hour and still waiting for a seat. Come on there’s plenty of works just not bothering to open an additional section. This is why I’ve walked out so many times but thought this early in the morning would be an in and out silly me!

I waited 2 1/2 hours past my appointment time only for them to turn me away because my pulse was too high (it was 105, it needs to be under 100). My pulse was high because I was annoyed and aggravated about the lack of professionalism and understanding of how appointments work. No bonus is worth your sanity – stay far away from this place!

Honestly, it doesn’t make sense how they have no urgency in their line of work. I’ve set my appointments for early times in the morning but I don’t end up leaving till 2/3 hours later. It’s ridiculous how an appointment is scheduled for 9am but end up out the center damn near 11 or after. They take all day with people vitals when you first start your donation, then never have their machines set up all until a donor is in a chair which is stupid. It’ll only be certain people who actually have urgency while the rest constantly talk to much to one donor while it’s other people like myself who are trying to make it to work in time, but they have no consideration of time. I’ve lost two jobs because of how slow and unprofessional they can be. Both this location and the one in Detroit need better service.

Place is usually understaffed and wait times are hours to donate. Most workers are helpful, fast and pleasant. Must advocate for yourself with some workers who don’t have experience with veins. I guess this us as good as it gets if you need money.
