I took a break from coming to the center and in this time I was receiving multiple emails with coupons to come back. Well when I did decide to come back, I scheduled my appointment on the app and put in a coupon code. When I got to the center I asked was my coupon was applied and was told no I had to speak with the phlebotomist and they’ll have to put it in because it was a larger amount. They put the code in and came back and said it had expired the day before and would not honor it. Now that I have been coming back on a regular basis I have not received not 1 coupon for extra pay. So I do not feel like I am valued as a loyal customer, as freedom plasma in southeast Memphis is $55 for the first donation and $100 for the second, but I choose biolife because it is a 3 minute drive from my house. I may have to start going to freedom plasma because I don’t have to wait for a coupon for extra pay.

There’s nothing nice to say about this place, except that some of the workers here are very kind and generous people. Now for the managers on the other hand (one being named Lauren) they’re self-absorbed, rude, and insufferable. They don’t seem to care about their employees or the donors. I will not be coming back after what I’ve observed and experienced. I wish those sweet phlebotomists good luck.

Nice facility with nice employees. Good care for clients and their veins. But be prepared to spend 2+ hours every visit. The appointment times are not followed at all and people just walk in when they want. There’s always over an hour long line to even begin getting processed and hooked up.

It’s a great place to donate and even more rewarding knowing you’re giving back to those in need. Donate today and help save lives. The centers are clean and the process is quick.

Staff are incompetent in giving correct/full instructions to make sure the entire process goes smoothly and effectively. I visited this location 4 times, unable to donate simply because particular instructions were left out each time. My last visit really ticked me off when again I was told that something they forgot to mention needed to be done before I was able to donate. I gave up and left, never planning to return.

Although I will not be going back, most of the staff up front were friendly and quick with the process, my main issue is how they handle their bedside manner when donating. You’re given this long questionnaire detailing all the things that could go wrong, then the nurse tells you all that again, and then you go to donate all anxious because things could go wrong, and your phlebotomist just leaves you there the whole time as you donate 600-800 ml of blood. They don’t tell you the saline gets really cold and you might shake uncontrollably by the end, and the person who stuck you and hooked you up will just leave and not return. He literally never came back to unhook me, I had to wave down another phlebotomist when I was done to be like hey, I’m shaking uncontrollably and crying can I please go now? And even then the lady I waved down had to get a nurse to write down my reaction, and the nurse didn’t even come the first time she called her. It was ridiculous. I didn’t feel cared for or safe. I will not be going back. I was there for hours and although I was able to donate and got paid, the utter shock and discomfort I felt while in that chair, shaking, tearing up, cold and my arm going numb, all my phlebotomist was no where to be found was enough for me to not want to be hooked up on their machines ever again. And I was not told to just wave someone else down in the case of feeling something, if that’s what was needed to be done, they should have told me that. Instead, the white man who hooked me up didn’t tell me I’d get cold or what to do if I start feeling something, there’s no button to alert anyone or anything and the other phlebotomists are usually busy running around or talking to the person their assigned to hook up.

BioLife is clean and has friendly staff. I’ve never experienced any issues after donating 2+ years. I will point out the wait times are an issue. It seems to me they need more staff to be effective with wait times. Staff do tend to complain about having to wait on their breaks and the long donation lines. I hope the management recognizes they need more staff.

I read bad reviews about this place and so far I kind of agree. It’s not so much the staff but the procedures they use. After going there signing up having my veins tested and then having my blood work done I was sent to do a digital interview where it asks a lot of medical history questions and informs you about the procedure. This in itself is fine except for after all of this you need to have a physical and the doctor goes over your questions. At the the end of the physical the doctor goes on to inform me that I’m in eligible for 30 days due to a non invasive surgery I had months ago. These are questions that should be asked and answered on the front end before wasting a persons entire morning. At the very least stop the digital questionnaire when it’s asked and the answer is confirmed.

I will start by saying that one star does not reflect on the whole center because there are amazing workers with impeccable attitudes. The manager tho, thats a whole different horror story. Manager with the red hair and glasses is BEYOND incompetent enough to deal with the public, rude, unprofessional, biased, last but not least “cares for one race more than others.”

This place is. Steady declining. Every month they are being cheaper and cheaper. Paying less and less. This is wrong. Get people hooked and the. Rob them of their plasma. What am I gonna do with 40 and 80. That’s enough for gas and like 2 meals today’s. Economy. You can’t even pay phone bill with this. But yet they make upwards of a grand off your two plasma donations. But u only get 120 seems like your giving your life away. People don’t go here to help. People go to make legit money to survive and. Now yall have joined the greed party. I can’t wait till I can afford to stop. Donating. Because it does take a toll on you. Weaker immune. System more sick prone arm and vein pains mental and physical drainage. After 3 months of donating this place fell off but at least it’s the best worst plasma place. Wait lines are. A hour. Only two or one vital checker Same with stickers. I’m tired of having to donate. Just for some gas and a burger stop being greedy because when things get better. We the people won’t forget your greed and. Your business will. Crumble
