I haven’t donated here in about 2 months and usually when I would come in, it wasn’t too much of a wait. I came two days ago and was here for HOURS. I came today for my second donation of the week and the lines are even more ridiculous both to be seen for screening and waiting to be assigned a chair. Last time I was here I asked someone why it was so busy and took so long and she said there is hardly any management staff. I’m assuming they are understaffed in general honestly. Corporate needs to send over some staff and get this place together because the amount of time you’re making people wait is ridiculous. If anyone is looking to come here for extra cash, be prepared to waste a chunk of your day. Personally, this isn’t worth my time. Irritating to say the least…

Awful service, if you appreciate your time and your life do not go to this location, they treat you worse than an animal. I was directed by the receptionist to sit in an area next to my friend who was getting his blood check. When they called him, I stayed in that same area while he was with the nurse. Then this very rude woman named Stephanie, said to me, ” Are you donating? I said no, I’m waiting for my friend, then she said on a very rude voice, this section is for donors only, I told her that the receptionist told me to sit there with my friend. Then she said it again, this is only for donors. Go sit in that other room if you are not donating. ” The room that she sent me to, it is clearly marked with “donors waiting room only. ” I asked her, are you sure? And she proceeded to raise her voice at me and said, YES, just sit there.

Staff is nice. Upper management dosent know how to manage. They over book appointments, why? Does management bonus $ from amounts of donations per month. First time donors BEWARE the reviews are all true. I waited for 4 hours. Upper management opened a bunch of new appointments around 9/17-9/18. Due to improper management and staffing the experience suffered. I talked to a few employees about the sudden opening. They said it’s upper management. What does that mean they don’t care. They don’t even care about the nurses break. So we have to wait a long time and they have to push back eating. The mistakes that could happen because of improper care and safety of employees. Imagine how that culture and environment translates to the patients. Im selling my plasma to a plasma broker essentially. Management should make this experience easy. Knowing they are short staffed or only has a couple of people working each station they still overbooked. All while overhearing some people can’t donate for a month or two due to complications.

My typical wait time past 4 weeks(2x week) has been about 3 hrs. Which I plan ahead to make sure I’m not in a rush because it can go longer. Used their $700 New Donor Promo. So on average 24 total hours so I made just under $30/hr. I’ll take it, also donating plasma helps others. Staff is great and has always been professional.

I visited this center from out state while here for a convention. The staff was helpful and friendly with my lack of knowledge of the setup of their center. I was able to donate multiple times while in town over 10 days. And each time the staff was always greeting and friendly.

They need to get with it at this location. People lined up and zig zagged around the building for hours to wait for vitals is ridiculous. And then you have to go wait in another zig zag line around the building to donate. You have to dedicate nearly an entire day to donating here. If this is going to be the case, the pay needs to be increased or a bonus needs to be paid to compensate people for the extra time spent here and sacrifing the majority of their day. Stop allowing so many people to schedule at one time if you don’t have the staff for that. Manage the appointments properly and stop allowing yourselves to be flooded and overbooked when you clearly can’t handle that many donors. They are in no hurry to get the line moving either..employees just standing around talking. Very poorly ran and managed. This has been an ongoing issue at this location for years now which is why I stopped coming here and 2 years later, nothing has changed. Someone needs to get this place under control. Sheyla(spelling?) is rude and appeared stoned. She was more concerned with fixing her hair and adjusting her uniform in between each donor than keeping the line moving. I doubt I will return. I can see various related reviews. How many of us have to give the same feedback before someone gets it together here?

Be prepared to spend 3 hours on most days, sometimes more. They often only have 2 technicians doing vitals. They overbook appointments and don’t have the staff to keep up. BioLife is by far the slowest of all of the plasma centers. Hopefully you’ll never have to call for any reason because they don’t answer or return voicemails.

4 people working the entire floor on a Friday or any day for that matter is absolutely absurd. Literally 4 workers sticking and Disconnecting. Can yall hire more people for the love of God. 5 hour ordeal. I recommend no one comes here unless you’ve eaten and don’t mind standing for 4 or 5 hours before being seen.

This facility is nice and clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Yep, they’ve gotten extremely busy over the last few weeks, hopefully it’ll settle down soon, either with more staff or opening the Goldenrod location. Because the wait time can be lengthy, be sure to bring some snacks and water, power drinks, etc. Hang in folks! Things will improve!

This is by far the worst plasma donation center I have ever been to. Be prepared to wait 2-3 hours+ on any given day you decide to donate. I decided to give this center a try due to its close proximity to my house, but their service is incredibly slow and inefficient. No matter what day of the week they are super packed, and way under staffed so you can easily wait up to 2 hours before you even begin the donation process. They need to increase staffing, decrease the amount of available appointments, or both. It is not worth your time to donate at this center, and I will not be coming back again after today.
