Weekly pay out keeps fluctuating. Currently they are decreasing the weekly pay out even though I have been loyal, and continue to go every week.

My experience has been great. If you are a first timer, expect to spend 3-4 hours of your day there to complete the physical, questionnaire and first donation. I definitely recommend you get an early morning appointment for your first visit.

Understaffed, but the staff they have are friendly and helpful. The experience would be a lot better if I could get right in and get right out. The appointment times fill up quick too and can make it impossible to get your 2 donations a week, and any bonuses that you could earn going often. Most issues I’ve seen could be resolved by Adding MORE staff.

I went twice in 48 hrs for my first donation in my life. The first time was cut short because of some complications. My arm pillow was upside down and wasn’t positioned properly. I may have taken a blood loss, not sure. The second time was two days later and things were going smoothly until my incision started bleeding and I showed some bruising. They used the same spot for the needle again. Session was cut short again and this time I definitely took a blood loss and was told I could now come back in 8 weeks. But this wasn’t my fault so I could not be compensated how I wanted to be cause of these complications which were not my doing. Left feeling a little off. The next day in the evening I had a major panic attack and was sent to the hospital. Very interesting. Stuck with a huge ER bill now and not being compensated properly. Why should I ever go to BioLife again? Be careful everyone

Absolutely horrible experience. Everyone that works in the back doing the actual plasma is great; ESPECIALLY ART! He’s a star! My issue is with the ladies in the front that do the finger stick and vitals. This process is what I imagine prison intake to feel like. Every time I’ve been there I feel like I’ve done something wrong. I’m referring to the two older women. One blonde, one brunette….possibly from Hungary? Yeah, the brunette is Aunt Lydia from GILEAD. I wouldn’t recommend this location to my worst enemy.

Donated 4 times, so far. Staff is friendly, but not super professional (play inappropriate music, talk about donors on probation, make a lot side shop talk etc.). First visit was 6 hours, last 3 have all been 3 hours wait. Apt set for for 8:45 but until around 11 before getting a donor bed, every single time. This should take about an hour for the whole process, maybe 90 minutes. They really do NOT care about your time or feelings. The last time I was suppose to done, I arrive and they say they have no record of apt due to a glitch with no compensation whatsoever. After my promotion lap period I will be going somewhere else.

They have you schedule an appointment to be seen, and then every time you have to wait hour to hour and a half just sit down. And when you ask why they just tell you sorry and if you don’t like it you can leave! I’ve also had multiple techs miss the vein and just be like oops hopefully we can get the other arm or you cannot donate today. Also if they mess up and give you a hematoma (bruise) you can not donate till bruise is gone. I would not recommend this place, and if you must do the promotional donations and then get out. 40 bucks after promotion isn’t worth the 3hrs

I would not recommend this place. They treat you like lab rats not humans. I had a an appointment at 2:40. I arrived at 2:30 and waited till 2:55 for someone to even acknowledge me. Finally when someone did, the lady took my social and ID and told me to sit in the waiting room. Fine. I wait till about 3:15ish and the lady tells to me sit in the chair and I went to sit and she tells me I can’t donate today because they didn’t get me in the system in time. I’m sorry? How is that my problem when I arrived on time? She wasn’t even sorry or seemed like she cared at all. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Update: after trying again, I was finally able to donate. Nurse Christine is amazing! Absolutely the most carrying person!

Sadly this location has changed since they first opened in Clearwater. Long wait times, I arrive late due due to an incident at work by 16 minutes. I understand they have a 10 minute before and after your time slot however their system wouldn’t let me reschedule my second visit for the week. No help from “manager on duty” nor the email I sent. I waited over an hour, two days prior to my missed appointment, just for pre-screening AND waited four hours a few weeks before on a normal visit.
