For a 45 min process including screening and donation, every single time I’ve spent a minimum of 2 hours. Most of the staff laugh around, walk around and work only when they are bored of wasting time. 5 out of 20 beds collecting plasma while rest are all either empty or have people waiting.

Experience was very good. Streamlines process, first visit physical and stuff took a while, but you could tell they moved you through all the steps to make sure you were healthy and able before starting, then donating was comfortable and clear.

Biolife Tallahassee location is great. Staff really works , some seems to be able to do do different positions I believe. Clean and nice, great parking. No photos to post. Hard workers, out maybe within 2 hours sometimes. Never any problems.

Very fast, very clean, great music, great people. The process is smooth & everyone who works there is always in a good mood. Very gentle when they insert the needle & they check up on you to make sure everything’s going well.

I had to leave three appointments that I haven’t been able to donate at, one being they were almost an hr behind appointment times and I still had 13 people in front of me for vitals and today because they hadn’t received results from my sample from the previous donation. You don’t get compensated for the time you waste not being able to donate and now I can’t complete the donations I need in time for the promotion I started, almost seems like it’s in purpose?

The facility is clean and the staff are friendly. The wait times are getting worse though. When this facility opened, I was in and out in just over an hour but now I am often there for 2 hours. The fix seems simple, either have more staff/machines or reduce the number of appointment times to a number the staff can handle. I would donate much more frequently if I was there for a more reasonable amount of time.

A friend I’ve been dropping off had a donation appointment today. We arrived near 2:35pm, rather than 2:30pm. A staff member refused to allow it for the reason that he did not have an appointment. when he produced confirmation of the appointment being scheduled. So is there’s a problem with the system? Or if a staff member fails to do her job? Biolife appears to be unprofessional.

Paige, Alexis, and Tabitha were extremely helpful with the on boarding of my first donation. This facility is a clean, well oiled machine, 2 hours from start to finish! Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Last time I arrived before the doors were even open, I was turned around because I didn’t have an appointment and they don’t accept walk ins. Which made absolutely no sense to me because I set my appointment for today at 9:10am as a second time donor and it is currently 10:30 and I’m still waiting. It took almost 20 mins to complete the questionnaire and wait in line for my vitals because there was clearly not enough staff even though it was as only a few people in line. However everyone seemed to just be standing around talking or taking their precious time doing whatever it was they were doing. There were also donors who came in after me and were in line behind me, that were admitted and started donating before me simply because the clinician I had wanted to take her precious time with EVERYTHING. Both the vitals line and the donor line was to the back wall while it seemed like the clinicians were on the floor handling one donor at a time. I watched as people who were in line behind me sit and get situated with a needle in their arm before my clinician finally decides to begin. Then after everything was done, I sat patiently as the machine continuously went off alerting the workers that I was done. However, they all kept walking by and the clinician who was working with me walked straight past me to “go on a break”. I was clenching my thighs together cause I had been holding my pee for the last hour and after watching another clinician pick up a broom and start sweeping the floors and picking up trash while my machine continued to beep, I got annoyed and called for another clinician who told me I had to ask someone else because he was only allowed to work on his side. Finally the clinician that I had been making eye contact with who had been sweeping finally puts the broom down to take the needle out of my arm. It’s like they swear we have nothing else better to do with our time, as if I wasn’t already sitting longer than I needed to. Seems as though they need more employees and ones who actually care about their job….
