It should not take over 2 hours to even get the the chair to donate…If you’re short staffed, quit signing up new donors… It’s very frustrating to STAND with no place to sit and wait for 2-3 hours and other staff is signing up new people.. Take care of the donors you already have… Also, what is the point of making an appointment if the system allows more people to make appointments than you have staff to take care of these donors?

Word, I thought I had found a simple and easy way to make a good amount of money for little effort… But after you go there the first time you are going to have wait at least an hour or two (standing too). Then after the first few times they hit you up with “yeah, best we can do is 40$.” The staff is wonderful and they professionalism is top notch but believe it you are being used just like a dealer or hustler would do. But if you absolutely have to, then I’d say it’s the best place to be disappointed and drained of your life force!

The line are quite often exceptionally long even with an “appointment” there is usually only 1-2 associates performing the check ins. There is no waiting are or places to sit once you’ve been cleared to donate. The waiting area usually has a line of 20 or more people. I would not recommend donating here is you have bad knees or hips. Accommodations are lacking for donors.

Wait times are way too long. Last time I was there donating they only had one person doing the initial screenings and the people that were processing new donors were working twice as fast as the one person processing regular donors. I had 4 people cut in front of me in line because of the new donor policy, in the same amount of time the person that was processing regular donors processed about three donors. Then when I was waiting in the line to actually be hooked up to the machine they processed like two or three more new donors. So those people cut in line again making the rest of us wait longer. I don’t know if they just overbook the appointments, or if they’re just understaffed, but they have problems keeping up with their own volume.

This is going to be my last time coming here I’m standing here for 3 and a half hours for a appointment that was made for 12.i just don’t understand how 30 people can make a appointment for the same time.half of the center they don’t even use. There one women who been hooking up 6 machines for one hour.they have bed they don’t use but u can’t sit on them. then send them back and put chairs there.biolife say they care about there donor but it’s clear to see they don’t.i can use the money but I liked being able to help people too ✌

Maybe someone can help me understand, but what is the point of making an appointment if your just going to wait in line for 4 hours behind someone who just walked in and smells like they haven’t washed their butts in 3 days? An appointment means you should be seen at the time scheduled. Kick all people out who don’t have an appointment and make them schedule one so the wait isnt so long. I won’t go back until they figure it out.

Couldn’t agree more with a previous reviewer who noted the incentives are skewed. Instead of whatever the weekly amount is dividing it by 50% they give the bulk of the incentive on the second donation sounds innocent enough until you think if you are deferred for any reason at all, including Faulty needle sticking you end up with a paltry sum after in some cases waiting 2 1/2 to 3 hours … This absolutely needs to change though it has not happened often to me probably 2 to 3 times when you plan a weekend around doing donations and standing in line. It is incredibly frustrating to the point where you wonder why am I doing this and indeed I have briefly stop donating at least twice for that reason.

Great staff. Friendly. Clean environment. Probably the highest paying in Columbus as well, but the wait times are ridiculous! I don’t see the point in having to make an appointment when you’re going to wait more than a hour guaranteed just to get in a chair. Probably my last time as of today

I’ve been doing this on and off for two year now. Give or take. Love most of the staff. Some aren’t friendly at all and others totally rock. My suggestion to new people, be completely observant of who sticks good and who doesn’t! You can ask for certain people or tell people you’d rather have someone else. I was deferred twice (both for 56 days) due to my machine not being set up correctly or not being stuck correctly and my blood never returned to me. Last week, the phlebotomist who had me deferred my first time was too occupied talking while sticking me, my fault for not saying anything but missed my view and started digging. Was adjusted over five times, then after an hour of that was stuck in my other arm so I wouldn’t be deferred again. My arm is now bruised and I can’t donate again for at least a week.
