The wait time is generally quite dreadful. The staff are nice enough here, but Jessica is the only one who seems to be able to be efficient. Wait times are definitely way down when she is on. Another thing is, needles do not generally bother me, but I have had several times here where you feel like they are slicing your skin with the needle.

Just went to my second appointment at this center. I was 5 minutes past the allotted time frame. The center looked deserted, no line no waits nothing. The receptionist turned me away in the most rude way. I wouldn’t have minded if the center was busy, but it wasn’t AT ALL, and I’d just drove 45 minutes to this appointment. Mind you, my first appointment took 4 hours, when it was only supposed to take 2 hours. There was a woman who came in right behind me at my first appointment when the center was incredibly busy, who had an appointment time for 11:00am and didn’t get there until 3:00pm. They fit her right in being 4 hours late. But turned me away over 5 minutes. I am in disbelief of the blatant double standards of this place.

This facility is clean, the staff is mostly pleasant and I have never had any problems when i donate. Unfortunately I can not give a higher rating than 2 stars because they are so slow. On average it takes me 2 hours per donation, I have had it run closer to 3 several times as well. It doesn’t seem to be impacted by the amount of donors there either, some of my longest donations have been when they were almost empty. If you’re looking to donate plasma I would advise you to try somewhere else it’s just not worth the wait here.

Facility is clean. Staff was generally polite. As of right now I am a first month donor. I got a SPEED test for my blood a week and a half ago. They will not (they say they are not able to) extend my first months donations. They said the speed tests occur between every 4 to 6 months for everyone. So to no fault of my own I cannot donate plasma until their routine blood test comes back and I lose out on 250$ of the first month donor promotion. Way to screw me over Biolife.

I’ve donated blood like clockwork for years and never had a single issue. My first appointment here resulted in a worker doing explorative jabbing in my arm with a needle resulting in a hematoma. Serious question: when they screen you for track marks and blown veins do they factor in their own hackjobs? And the hilarious part is, after going through the screening and physical etc… they told me I’d only be paid half the initial daily rate for my troubles. I’d rather double down on my efforts to continue donating for free at my local blood bank than get paid to darken BioLife’s door again. I won’t be going back.

Soooo slow. If one particular manager is working you can get in and out in an hour and a half. If he isn’t working, plan to be there for 3 hours or more. I’ve seen biolife respond to the other reviews saying they’re short staffed but that ISN’T the problem. The staff will have multiple beds open in their section and wait to seat someone, if you’re in the waiting section you can hear multiple completion alarms going off for 5 minutes before someone actually gets to them.

Clean building, staff is “friendly” to select patients. My biggest issue is the non frequent glove change and hand washing. The nurses get mad if you asked them to change gloves after they just messed with someone else’s blood, plasma, or touching anything not sanitary. Figured glove changes were common sense in medical fields guess not tho. They move slower than christmas I’ve never got out any faster then 2 hours even if there isn’t anyone there. I had finished giving plasma and they walked around doing everything else but come take it out. I had to sit with it in my arm for an additional 30 minutes after my donation was done. Some nurses know how to put the needle in some feel like they’re slicing your arm open with it.

The facility is clean. Staff seems nice…but they are SO slow. You can have an appointment to donate at 7AM, you will get hooked to the machine an hour later. This was not my first time donating there! The appointments easily take 2hrs or more! They are not that busy, they just work EXTREMELY slow. No one seems to put customer service first.

Went in for my 1st appointment and arrived on time. They asked me to please have a seat in the waiting area. An hour later they still have not come to get me. I guess their gab session was more important. A complete waste of my time with no compensation. Stay away from this place!

While the staff is friendly and as effecient as possible considering the number of clients vs the number of employees, I can not give this business a 5 star review, they send promotional coupons that it is impossible to meet the conditions of in order to get you to donate, once there you do not know how much they will pay you until it is too late and you have already donated, then you have to go to the front desk AFTER already donating to find out why you are short…. they will read the coupon to you and there will be some fine print…..(ex. new donors must make 8 donations in 30 days in order to get the full bonus or a coupon says you must complete 2 successful donations by x date, being 2 days after the email is sent….. illegal for them to accept you twice in that time frame) making it impossible for them to pay you what you believed you would get. it is important to understand this is not illegal, its just bad business and misleading and the sole reason I can not leave a 5 star review. A company that is taking plasma from people should be 100% transparent and help people (especially new donors) understand EXACTLY what the conditions are PRIOR to donating so if they want to use a competitor they still can.
