Decided to come in with my boyfriend who donates more frequently. It was my first time and everyone was super kind and accommodating! Karen, the nurse who did my intake and physical, was super sweet! She made me feel really comfortable. They definitely cater to newbies, cause you get snacks and to cut the line lol. The actual donation process was good too. They make sure you’re comfortable and understand what’s going on!

Staff gets 100 stars they are amazing. My rate is due to the wait, they take more people that they can handle. It sometimes takes more than 3 hours to be able to get the process done and after working 10 hours shifts the last thing I want to do is wait that long but we all need the extra cash so we have no choice.

This place used to run so smooth. Now wait times are ridiculous. I thought it was a one or two time thing when these wait times went up to 3 hours but it’s like this everytime. 3hrs per visit. It’s not worth the money to have to sit there 3+ hours for 40 dollars. It’s takes over 2 hours before a needle is on your arm. Worst plasma center I have ever visited and i have been to some bad plasma centers. The wait time just makes it unbearable.

Your experience will depend on who does your stick. Skill levels will vary. Ked pays more but this place is friendly and has some good people. Wait times can be long. They are chronically understaffed.

Absolutely proud of myself to take the time. Initial will take awhile and I had one unique quirk. They double check and I ended up being really safe and appreciated. I looking forward to donate as many times as possible.

After coming twice, deferred for a doctor’s note for something simple I told them about, bugging my doctor for the note, getting approved by my doctor AND the doctor at BioLife, coming back again and waiting for several hours to be seen, then I was rejected, because they weren’t so sure about something so small. Something normal that many people my age have to deal with.. in fact I know of others that have had the same thing, and are donating right now at BioLife. I’m very angry and fed up with it. I was wanting to donate with my wife, and make a thing of this. I will find somewhere else to go I suppose, but my impressions are that BioLife really sucks at telling me the truth, and scheduling patients for the load they can handle.

The staff is courteous and very professional and I have yet to have any issues. I’m always in and out in less than an hour. Also it’s nice to be able to help others in need and a useful way to give back and support our communities.

i wish i could leave ZERO stars. i drove an hour to get there and waited almost two hours to finally go through the steps and talk to the nurse only to be turned away. there is no way to prescreen folks so we can know if we are not eligible ahead of time. the issue i stated was from YEARS ago and does not affect my health at all. i wasted 4+ hours of my day to make NO money. HUGE waste of time – donate elsewhere!!!

Extremely Unprofessional. 1. The front desk attendants are stricklers on identification. My gf on two occasions tried to donate and they turned her away for the dumbest reasons. First she didn’t have the original copy of her social but she had a printed out copy which literally can work exactly the same. Then they did a background check and said she failed even which doesn’t make any sense because how could she fail and background check but also have a job that did a background check and took her social. The second time she actually brought her social and the desk attendant refused her AGAIN because she has more than one last name and it wasn’t all on her social security card because it doesn’t fit. SAME NUMBER SAME NAME SAME EVERYTHING! Then for me I go donate and the nurses all have little attitudes. The wait times are ridiculous. They have no regard for your time. The nurses CAN NOT accurately put the needle into your veins so I got hematomas in BOTH arms. I go to a different location another day to donate and the same thing happen. Unable to put the needle into my veins and gives me a hematoma. I refuse to try the second arm because I knew they wouldn’t be able to get to vein correctly and because of that I received a partial payment not even HALF. So if I hadn’t refused and gone with the second and got ANOTHER hematoma they would give me full payment but leave me with two wounded arms. Unbelievable
