I was waiting for quite awhile to be hooked up to the plasma machine. Come to find out, I was over looked. The tech was very nice and apologetic. However, periodically I am left waiting for a substantial amount of time, once well over a half hour, as I watched someone who came in after me get hooked up first. Not once did anyone come and just acknowledge my presence. I don’t mind if I have to wait, especially when I see how busy people are, but it would be helpful if the policy was that you at least get acknowledge each individual as they take a bed and let them know if it’s going to be another 5 or 10 minutes before a tech gets to them.

Great place and good money but they will do a little bait a switch on you. Was promised $700 for 1st 8 donations if you can do it in 1 month. At 2/week that should be easy. But they suspend your donations for 9 days waiting on your protein test. So it winds up being impossible. When you ask for an extension they just tell you no. Got cheated out of the last $95. Not sure I will give again.

Same experience almost every time: the definition of “Meets Expectations.” There are several employees smiling & showing urgency regardless of circumstances & a few that are downright lethargic every time I see them. I am willing to wager that it is a difficult position to fill & I doubt I have to name names… I’m sure management knows who they are, because it’s the same “meh” ones each time I visit. Nobody wants to got donate for 2 hours each time start-to-finish, even if the parking lot is not even close to full. Replacing the handful of employees that aren’t efficient is probably the only way to solve it. I overlook it, because most of the staff members are really nice/urgent & I realize that I could never do their job. I could also never pick up interstate trash, even if it paid $100/ hour! The difference in ordinary & extraordinary? It’s that little “extra.”

There were enough staff on hand to move everything along pretty quickly. The only negative experience I ever have at Biolife is when you’re short-staffed either at check in or when I’m on the donation floor.

To say I’m disappointed in the way they treated my 19 year old daughter is an understatement. She went in this afternoon to donate and was turned away. Why? They did not approve of her outfit. What was she wearing? A cropped t-shirt and shorts. To make it worse, they waited until they had her sit there for almost an hour, took her photo, pricked her finger, checked her veins and completed and processed all of the required paperwork. Why did it take them so long to decide that her outfit was against their policy/dress code? Don’t you think that if you had a policy/dress code, you would have it posted? Again, as much as I believe in and support what they are doing to help people, this was really disappointing. My daughter was embarrassed and felt like they were shaming her. For a society that wants to accept everyone, we sure do have a lot of exceptions.

Lady at the front is a kind soul, so to be clear, This review isnt referring to her. I Went in for a first donation appointment and i dont think i have had a place have so much trouble finding a vein. They only checked 1 time on each arm when the cuff wasn’t even snug. Then the doc had the nerve to say I need to lift weights so they can find the veins better and asked if I wanted to defer for 15 days and come back. No thanks, don’t waste your time. And again, the young lady at the front was a joy and made my day brighter.

Very clean facility. Very nice staff. Wait times just depend when you go in. Sometimes longer Sometimes short. I donate 2x a week for the past 2 years and love it here. It is also in a very safe part of town.

Honestly I’m unsure of what the bad reviews are for because this place has taken amazing care of me and my husband we came from another place and they did terribly by us the whole time.this place is amazing Philip at the front is so kind Adam is super kind and remembered me and my hubbies name right after second visit. They pay really good too and treat you well not like cattle like other places.

Staff is friendly and personable. Being late on a weeknight, I was able to work my overtime at work and get in and out with my donation completed within an hour.
