I am a retired nurse and became a new donor 6 weeks ago. The building is clean.

I have had 3 great experiences donating. The staff are kind, professional, and work quickly. I had a small logistical issue that needed to be addressed and I was able to speak with Shuan and he immediately took care of it, which I am extremely thankful for. I highly recommend anyone interested in donating plasma to come to this facility. I will never donate anywhere else, and I have been to many places.

While the staff is overall polite and helpful, they are clearly overwhelmed. There doesn’t seem to be much concern from the company that there is minimal staff and hundreds of appointments per day; causing high stress for the staff, and extremely long wait times for donors (from personal experience- sometimes the whole process will take upwards of 3 hours). While trying to rush to get donors hooked up, the amount of “bad sticks” and having to be taken down before the donation is complete is on the rise. I was made aware that there were SEVERAL NRNS in the past week alone, causing several 8 week deferrals- all because people are not being hooked up properly. More staff or less donation appointments per day while they are so understaffed would help prevent a lot of the issues- biolife overhead just has to care and help them! You can’t overwork your best employees, they get tired too, and eventually you won’t have them either.

My Experience at BioLife in Greensboro NC on Yanceyville St has been Outstanding. The Whole Team is Extremely Professional and Cool If you happen to be feeling uncomfortable, they will find a way to make you feel comfortable to their best abilities. On a scale from one to ten, I have to give them a 10. There’s nothing like being able to earn money and help others in need at the same time.

Never had a bad experience here, the staff are nice and professional. Sometimes you do have to wait longer than expected but I try to plan for that. I will say, bring a blanket and make sure you are good and hydrated because your donation will go quicker if you are properly hydrated. They will also be able to find your vein easier. I think I’ll continue to come it’s been a nice experience for me.

Staff is courteous and professional. I’ve been going to this location for years. Ever since Covid, they have never recovered. They are way understaffed or they over book their appointments. It’s hard to get through in under two hours now are used to be able to get in and out in about an hour. Not worth the time for the money.

I don’t have anything bad to say about Biolife. It’s a state of the art type plasma center. If you go in there with the mindset to donate to improve the life of others more unfortunate than you because they have chronic diseases you yourself don’t have or consider the fact that if you yourself were ever in a situation where your life depending on plasma, then the process would be easy and painless. You also get compensated with more frequent bonuses. The staff do their job and do it well. The facility is clean and the process most days is seamless. If I had anything bad to say about the entire dynamic, it definitely would not be about staff and operations. But hey! It is what it is. Book an appointment today!

I would’ve gave them a half star if it was an option and that’s only for the friendley-ness of the employees. But, with that being said being friendly and being good at your job are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT things. Today was the third time in a row that I went here and every one of those three times they had problems returning my red blood cells on the FIRST return of red cells. The first time they switched from my right to my left arm and stabbed right thru the vein into a muscle. The second i told them not to adjust the needle and this third time on the FIRST return once again the blood swole my arm us the size of half a baseball and the pressure almost shot the needle out of my arm. Theure not properly trained. Theyre awfully nice here but they dont know a thing abput flabotomy.

The staff are really nice so this is no reflection on them. I went to Biolife on two promotions. The first time I was supposed to be paid $80 and they only paid me $70 but highlighted the payout as though they actually gave me $80. Today I went and I had a coupon in the system they gave me to come back another day because of the long wait. I was supposed to be paid $80 and then another $25. When I checked they only paid me $85 but again highlighted the numbers in my app like they paid me the entire amount eventhough they didn’t. I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau and try to find out a corporate number because I feel like I’ve been stolen from. They have my plasma so pay me what you owe me!

The team here makes you feel welcomed and tries to put you at ease immediately if you are a first time donor. If you’ve gone there a few times and become a little familiar you see the connections they make. There’s a lot of teamwork going and when they were really busy and maybe a little shorthanded they made it work and nobody had an attitude. It was pretty cool. I’ve been here a few times they generally have a good time working together but they get things done. I appreciate everyones kindness.
