The workers are all amazing, easy money, and saving lives! BUT the lines are so long all the time they are allowing too many appointments to be made with not enough staff to do them in a timely manner. Most times I’m in line for an hour or more before even getting to donate. So make sure you make like a 3 hours window to be safe. Hopefully they get a better solution to fix the amount of time spent there when your only

Fantastic Service. I have been here close to 600 donations and everyone is very professional. Sometimes the line does get long but like everywhere else they have staffing issues. You have to plan for 2 hrs and hope it only takes 1:15-1:30. They are very busy and the later you come in the day expect longer lines but everyone that works there tries very hard and treats you great.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. I live a little over 30 minutes away…. I am financially struggling so I decided to donate.. but because of a few prescription medications I wanted to make sure I could donate first. So I called. Asked if PTSD or my medication I’m prescribed for it would prevent me from donating…. they said no. So I came here…. went through everything for them to tell I can’t don’t because of PTSD. So I wasted 20$ I didn’t have because they lied to me on the phone. If they were honest I would of NEVER WASTED my gas!!

I have been coming here for 10+ yrs, but today will be my last visit to biolife here in Harrisonburg VA. Wait times have gotten worse and worse over the yrs. Been here since 810am for an an 815am appt. It’s now 9am and I have not started my donation yet. I shouldn’t have to explain to a company that this is not good. My appt time passed almost an hour ago and I’m still laying here waiting to get hooked up after I waited in line 30 minutes to get a bed. It was the same at my last 3 appts. I do not and would not accept this from anyone else I have an appointment with, so I will not from this business either. Wish you would have done better.

Employees great facilty management cant say so much. Seems like he likes to run to the office everytime it gets slammed and they need the help the most. Honestly ive never seen him help. They are deff over booked and under staffed for sure

Sometimes the nurses & phlebotomist can be very short tempered & disrespectful. I have caught quite a few of them role their eyes & it has been on several occasions. I have been coming their for years & it’s to do a good cause because Lord knows the money doesn’t amount to anything. They really should learn how to speak to people because people aren’t only coming there for money.

They worked to explain the process and answer my questions regarding. Had every detail mapped out with snacks provided. The wait was not awful.

Everyone are super nice and always ask how I am and how my day is going. However it always takes forever to even know if you are eligible to donate because it is not very many people doing intake but I feel that it could be faster because at times it looks like there are employees just sitting around talking amongst themselves and not really getting anything done. And of course I wish I would get more promotions and I definitely would have more incentive to come.

I have donated here for the last few months and I have to say this place hands down is steller. A few evenings ago I had my best experience I’ve had. My brother and I came in waited our turn (you have to have some patience people) got sat in red and our phlebotomist was amazing. So polite, pleasant, engaging, and comforting. My pulse was a little high when i was tested and waited 10 mins and was FINE! Staff was very nice offered me water and made sure i was relaxed as possible. I’m am not an easy doner (sometimes my vains won’t work with us) my machine went off 4 times while I was in the seat, meanwhile our section was full. Each time the amazing phlebotomist came when she could, made sure i was okay and comfortable, even stood there to make sure my levels were good, all while giving the same care to everyone else. ( not to mention we had two new donors that sat in her Section as well) 5stars from me. Have some grace people and keep up the amazing work!

I don’t normally leave poor reviews, but this place is a joke. People who work there are extremely rude and act inconvenienced. Being honest about your health issues will cause you to be deferred even after submitting the “necessary” healthcare provider letter. For what reason I still wasn’t ever told. I have plenty of friends who go here and they’ve never been asked to provide a healthcare provider letter. Furthermore, i have no health issues. Doesn’t make sense but there’s no point in asking why because you won’t get a call back or a direct answer as to why. Yeah, all that back and for for a whole $35? I’m good.
