I’ve had the worst experiences dealing with this place. To start, it took forever to schedule an appointment due to no availability.

This was a quick and easy process the first time I came. But now it seems like every time I go in, I’m waiting 10-15 minutes to check in with someone, and then another 20 minutes to be hooked up to get my plasma drawn. Then I have had to wait a long amount of time to be unhooked. It’s very inconvenient when I have other appointments that day. Besides that, things have been okay. I’ve only been badly bruised once to where I couldn’t donate the next time. A few of the employees that put the needle in are a lot better than others. Overall an okay experience, but plan on spending longer than they say here.

TERRIBLE!!! They have a whole bunch of rules that are not explained and expect you to know them. The employees get an attitude with you when you ask simple questions. They are NO help. Employees do not care about donors. They sit around and talk to each other and are not donor oriented. If you want your time wasted come here.

I love all the staff here especially the Nurse Jessica she’s so sweet and patient with you & my experience was great. It’s super cold in there so bring a blanket & Gatorade so it’s faster. Good luck

Decent facility, clean, and I’ve successfully donated a couple times. My issue is that 15 days after my initial donation, I arrived to the facility for my appointment, and was notified I was locked out of my account. I was told by an employee I was unable to continue donating due to my initial protein sample being incomplete. I was verbatim told by an employee that the sample might have been marked as incomplete due being it being “dropped” or just simply lost. Staff here is usually great but this was a huge misstep and inexcusable thing to happen under their watch. I proceeded to give another sample, but now I’d have to wait an additional 7-10 days before I’m notified if I’m eligible to donate again. All due to an error on their behalf.

Useless and a waste of time. Said they couldn’t feel a vein on my one arm -“must be too deep”. My other arm they wouldn’t check because it’s tattooed (apparently registration missed my entire sleeve. Must’ve been hidden from my tank top or whatever). Hour and a half of my life I’ll never get back. Been drawing blood since 2014 and I’ve never seen anything like this joke.

This place is a sham. The first appointment when I went the lady barely looked for the 2 veins needed in my arms and decided that she could not use me. She acted like I wasted her time after two seconds and I just rescheduled and went home. I did everything they told me to do including eating a light meal that is not fatty or sugary. I came back and was told 4vhard-boiled eggs was not enough and no I could not go next door to the store and grab a small snack and eat it. I had to reschedule and again pay for another Uber home instead of wait for 3 hours for the MTA mobility transport back. I set everything up so I had all the time set up for the first donation. This is a waste of time and money and offensive when they told me they didn’t care that I live in poverty because everyone else that comes there does too.. I wanted to ask the nurse if the medications I take will defer me from donating. They told me they will not give me a list of medications that will defer donating plasma with them. I will never return. How dare they treat people like this!

I really love going here however, they really need to beef up security . Some of these patrons who donate seem like they are dangerous and will try to hurt other patrons. I think they need to hire security with armed gun

They prepared you with tutorial videos so there weren’t any surprises. The first experience took a little over 2 hours but other ones will be less. I like that you can watch a “countdown” on the machine. I only wish they gave a small snack at the end!

Make sure when you go there that you lie about your health. They use information from 50 years ago that you had a child as a deterrent. I was unable tondonate because I was honest about a condition I had 50 years ago that I no longer have. Other donation sites have allowed me to donate.
