I wish, so hard, that there was a donation center closer to me than this one. Every time I come here, there is some insane wait and the employees doing vitals are much more focused on their side conversations than caring for the person they’re checking on.

I would’ve given 4 stars, your staff is awesome but your company seems to be lacking employees. To keep a better appearance, please stop over scheduling when you are low on employees. Customer’s there is another plasma bank in Monroeville, PA. I haven’t been there before, but I will make an appointment soon with them. Thank you BioLife for your services !

The technician who poked my arm poked it too deep. It still hurts days later, esp when I try to lift anything. I feel tingling in my arm when I move a certain way or lift anything over 3 lbs. I suspect she hit a nerve. Either way I don’t want to come back, I’m not risking my health over this. Not to mention the lines and wait times are pretty long, you’ll be there for hours.

The employees are great here, but they are stretched thin. I had to wait for over three hours to donate my plasma. It’s not worth my time or the money. The one star is going to the company and how they run the operation. The employees I give a five to.

Been there twice and the some of the staff was very rude and disrespectful both times. They also scammed me out of by promotion rewards. Claimed they needed to test my protein levels. Got the results back and everything was fine, after the promotion period was over….

I’m not sure what the point of making donation appointments is here. The wait times are RIDICULOUS. I’m not sure if it’s overbooking, understaffing or a combination of the two, but I’m talking HOURS. The staff appears to work pretty consistently, but it’s clear they are overwhelmed.

Great if you’re unemployed and can devote a whole day to making $50. The website says it’ll take 2 hours for first appointment and about an hour for all following appointments. My first appt took 6 hours and following appointments take 3+ hours. They staff 5 people for the whole building but schedule 300 for an hour. It makes no sense and is not realistic for anyone who works or can’t give a whole day to this mess. Staff is friendly but half the time they’re too busy gossiping to move people through the process at a normal speed. They’ll trash talk other donors or coworkers to each other and not even pay attention when shoving a needle in your arm. So many HIPAA violations.

False advertisment. They took blood on my 7th Donation and I was not able to donate for almost 3 weeks after that and could not receive my funds for my 8th donation. I was told my protein was low on my last visit days after I donated and now I still cannot donate because I had to give blood and wait for the results to come back. I haven’t donated since 5/21 because of this reason. And no one ever answers the phone to find out about test results
