So unbiased opinion coming from a person who’s went for over 4-5 years, this place had started going down about 2 Christmas’s ago (literally). A switch was flipped in that building and the turnover rate either the staff and patients increased. Then they got a new system and the total donation process time drastically changed. Ms. Kim and Slim literally the only 2 people why people stayed or were comfortable with returning and trusting the rest of the staff. It was great tho at one point of time.

Very friendly and nice staff. Yes, it took a long time since it was my first time but I understand that it is a donation(voluntary) and not a job to be here. When I became dizzy towards the end, they were quick to respond and make sure that I was okay. Be nice and courteous because they are doing their best. Everyone was working very hard to get people in a out. If you got an attitude or no patience don’t bother, just go home and be a nuance to some else. I’m glad I came over. One quick thing – if they had parking it would be even better. Thank you to all the staff!

1 star is too much for this place. The payments are great BUT 3 hours or longer to wait each time is ridiculous. Especially when most workers are gossiping, cussing, walking/standing around doing nothing. When you question why it’s taking so long some get attitudes and will threaten to defer you. I’ve never been somewhere so unprofessional as this place. Yesterday was my 4th visit and my last. Every visit gets worse and worse. I will never go back.

The workers and nurses are nice but they are just so slow. If you go, even when it’s not that busy, it usually takes at least 3 hours. Your first 4 donations are $150 each. After that it’s $50 your first time and $100 your second time (if you go twice in the same week). If you only go once a week or less than it is not worth your time to go more than the first 4 times.

Called to find out about about donating. The gentleman on the phone had a attitude, I asked if they could handle a harder stick which mean they would actually have to be good at their job and he said they couldn’t do it. Be wary of anyplace that can’t handle any type of vain because that means the person who is sticking you isn’t that good at their job. I was warning about this place by someone else but I thought I would at least call anyways. Glad I didn’t waste my time or blood with them.

I want to give one of the biggest shout outs to bio blood components and all of there staff today. They showed me the most compassion and understanding today. I went in to donate and I didn’t give myself enough time I guess. Today is my brother’s funeral and I was going to miss it. Not only did they pay me in full but they did so without making me donate a full amount. I started bawling in the donation bay. They showed me the upmost compassion and heart felt sarrow when they didn’t have to. So thank you to all the staff at this center. Mrs. Kiki the phlebotomist and the entire staff. So from my family to all of them thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I like to donate here. The staff are friendly and funny. It’s never a long wait to get to the back. Sometimes they are understaffed and they try to go as fast as they can. I get frustrated when that happens. But I just turn on my phone and watch a movie or something. Then it seems to be not so long. And with the cards, you can walk cross to Kroger and buy a drink or a snack $1 or less. And then get the money off at checkout. Only charge. 50 cents. I think it’s the easiest way. I def recommend this place over any of the other plasma places. The pay is good and they have bonuses every month. And new donors get paid really well! And some days, it’s rather warm in there, and it causes me to have a temp at. 01 or so over and I have to come back next day. But overall a fast place and cool staff.

Its a small plasma place. The debit card charges you to get your money. Get hydrated before you go, or you will feel faint and dizzy after. They are very understaffed most of the time. Best to go in the early morning. The main reason I go here is, they pay well. Their standard pay rate is higher than some other places. Sometimes they take a long time to pay out. If you have lots of tattoos don’t bother coming here.

I wish I could give 0. I was new. When I walked in no one greeted me I was just standing there. I was there almost 4 1/2. Hours before I got in a chair. They are very understaffed. They only had 1 person working each station. The girl that was checking people in was cussing people out. There was at least 20 people waiting to get blood drawn and only one girl doing it all. And the girl that poked me didn’t know what she was doing. It was hurting and burning I didn’t even get to donate and now my arm is bruised. Worst experience donating ever. Please do not go here! So ghetto! Not worth it at all. Go to bio life on bethel rd. they’re so much better faster and professional.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Some of the dirtiest, rude people Ive ever encountered in this capacity. Ive donated for 10 yrs no problem. Wanted to try this location because distance from my job, at 1st they tried to not let me donate because one of my tattoo’s has to much detail, yet there are people with prision tatts head to toe that you cant even depict what they are. Finally, the people they having sticking are terrible. I was in pain after I was stuck requested to be taken off and they deferred me saying my viens are too small. However when I call in they say the notes state since I didnt complete dontaion my viens aren’t suitable. Yet I can donate at any other center in Columbus. This place is a joke avoid them at all cost.
