I have been donating plasma at another facility for over a year now and decided to try B plasma. I gave this company multiple chances and I will be returning back to Biolife. I have been turned away multiple times while having a donation appointment. the card charges you every time you withdrawal money off it while biolife’s card has zero fees. I know people who received a new donor promotion for the first month and I did not receive one. My excuse was they do not offer one when I know they do. It is very difficult to book and reschedule your appointments online. What was the final issue for me was how the front staff ( one specific nurse) has been very rude the 4 times I had been there. If you want to donate plasma I highly recommend biolife both staff and experience!!

If you wanna know about this place look up the staff ratings on indeed, they unusually pop up as the 3rd or 4th option for me when I google the corp. See what the employees say about working for this company. I mean there’s some sweet hearts that work here but the company is super shady and I’ve personally experienced enough that I would stay away from here. I’ve donated plasma for a few years now and can say with confidence this is the worst place to donate.

I have never donated plasma before. The first visit was pretty long with the questionnaires, interviews, blood typing/testing, and physical exam, as to be expected. The phlebotomist was GREAT and had everything set up quickly and efficiently. I was a little over halfway through when I started having a reaction. Almost the entire staff came rushing to my chair, calmed me down, got me ice packs, and started the return. No one left my side until I could breathe okay again. They asked if I wanted to continue and I said yes. I made it 5-10 more minutes before having another reaction. This time I asked to discontinue the line and they started the return and made sure I was okay and gave me tums because my hands were cramping so bad. No one ever left my side and they made sure I got extra saline before discontinuing my line to make sure I was hydrated enough. The staff had me sit another 5-10 minutes before they assessed to make sure I was okay to leave. They were absolutely amazing! I don’t remember everyone’s names but I know Lindsey, Cheryl, Monique, Sue, Renae, and Carla were right there when I needed them or felt off. I decided I am going to try one more time to see if I can to do it and I know I’m safe with these lovely ladies!

I was excited to see another plasma donation center opening in the area. My first visit went well – soft opening so no wait time, the staff were pleasant and professional, the phlebotomist that stuck me was awesome. Unfortunately, the excitement ended on my (potential) second visit.

I enjoyed my experience here. The staff is friendly and the facility is small so you’re basically in and out. The initial first donation is a long process because there is a physical and questionnaire you have to go through. But I think I will enjoy coming here being it’s a smaller facility and closer to my house.

I’ve gotten turned away for walking in after I was told I could walk in. There was nobody waiting and I traveled a half an hour to get there. The lady at the front was very rude.
