The staff is amazing. The process to donate was simple and quick. This facility was sanitized, clean, spacious, and equipped with up to date equipment. I used to donate with American Red Cross until they went out of business. I called ahead of time to inquire as to what I needed for my donation and was delighted to know I only needed my driver’s license. The snacks are top notch. Thanks.

Clean facility, but very slow service. I always set an appointment, but I don’t think it matters, as it is normally well past my appointment time when I’m actually seen. During this visit, I had to leave after waiting for 45 minutes without being seen.

Don’t care if have an appointment or a walk in. Youll wait. Call and hound for blood then don’t care when you show up to give it, with an appointment. Take sweet time and don’t have any concern for people’s time. HOWEVER, the actual giving blood is easy and they take care of you…it doesn’t hurt and its clean, plenty of snacks after too.

Such a relaxing, spacious, and clean donation center! Apparently new from around 2015 and clearly well maintained. Great care from collecting history information to getting poked… Jamie poked me gently and wrapped my arm comfortably. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this location and their staff members! They treat you so kindly every time and take any complaints about your well-being during the donation very seriously. They were fast to snap into action when I felt woozy and handled the situation perfectly. A great place to donate!

I have been very disappointed in this location on several appointments. I have waited over 30 minutes to donate with a scheduled appointment on two occasions and was bumped by another donor who was scheduled after me. Most of the staff is pleasant but not the kind of friendly I would expect to see caring for people who are donating their live saving blood, plasma or platelets. One screener made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. I wish to donate but will not donate at the Shackleford location again.

The receptionist was very sweet and helpful, the girl who triaged me (Dawneesha? Sorry sweetheart, I can’t spell) was extremely professional and FAST, but my absolute favorite was Penny!! She was the sweetest and kindest lady who helped me get past my anxiety and let me relax. She is an angel!

I love this place. ABI always makes it easy to make a difference. They are so friendly, professional, and efficient, and I have been impressed with their skill in drawing blood every time. 2 hours in the chair donating platelets Saturday, and I barely felt the stick, (props to Penney) everyone was pleasant, and I was comfortable the entire visit.

Rude! Every time I go there is the rudest Phlebotomist! It makes me uncomfortable having such a rude person stick a needle in me. I told one I can be a hard stick just as a heads up, she slammed her hands on the table and said, “aint no point in you being here.” I’m Never going back, I suggest people find another location, DON’T GO TO THE LITTLE ROCK LOCATION!

Sadly, after waiting 1 hour after our appointment we hadn’t been taken in to start the process. Another lady also had to leave. The receptionist was very pleasant and the facility was nice. They just weren’t getting people through. They lost 3 pints of nloob within an hour.
