I completed the online portion of the first aid/cpr/aed class. It said congratulations, now you have to go take a skills test in person. I thought that I only had to take an online test to pass. I would have just done it all in person, but they don’t tell you that before you complete the course.

In the past I’ve had issues donating at this location due to labor constraints. Today was awesome. Got thru without issues. Great job team!

Staff are friendly and I’m usually in and out in 20 minutes. I try to give every 3 months and worth the good cause 🙂

I have donated whole blood a couple times at this location, and it’s the very best. The staff are incredibly friendly and proficient. They get you in quickly and have never had any issues with IV sticks or the donation process. Would highly recommend!!

I had appointment to donate. But when I got there, I was told there was no record of my appointment even though I showed her email confirmation of my appointment. I was told it would be 45-60 minute wait “because so many people came in today.” I declined to stay. This facility is always busy. I have had to wait 15-20 minutes with an appointment. I refuse to wait an hour. They need better management of their scheduling. Very disappointed.

Like others have mentioned in their reviews, the staff was very nice but they were VERY behind schedule. I made an appointment for 4:45 and arrived on time. I didn’t get into the actual chair with the draw started until 6:45. Granted, it was busy because of people wanting to donate during the hurricanes, etc. right now, but they also only had 2 or 3 nurses working. My mind was blown. I am O negative so I get at least a call a day from the Red Cross reminding me of the “urgent need” for my donation, so they drum up the business, and know that people will want to donate during emergency situations like we have now, but these centers are not staffing up to meet the extra donors. It’s crazy. I liked this center and would go back, if I could know for sure that I wouldn’t have another two-hour wait.

Had an appointment today at 8:15. Drove 25 minutes to get here only to be told upon check-in that I would have to reschedule because they were under staffed and would not be doing any whole blood donations. I politely asked them in the future to call those folks with appointments that they would not be taking donations so as to not waste my time driving to an appointment that is going to be cancelled. This has happened to me NUMEROUS times at this location and this is my LAST time ever coming here. HORRIBLE management and communication at this center. I have given blood and platelets at this location in the past but as of today I will NEVER set foot in this location again! If you seriously are in need of blood during this COVID time period then you need to shore up the poor performing centers such as this one!

Great staff, always friendly, very capable, only get poked once. There is a place in heaven for them. They are the only reason this place gets any stars at all. The Ann Arbor center is always understaffed, and the management has no idea how to use the workers effectively. It always take close to two hours for a donation, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to send me an email or call today when they closed because of the weather. Of course, I’ll be back – what am I going to do – stop donating blood when there is such a need for my O+? I wish there were another organization that does as much good as the Red Cross, because I’d give blood there starting now.

I get calls almost every single day asking me to donate. Worse than any other spam number. Yet when I try to donate I wait 1.5+ hours past my appointment that I’m always on time for. I’ve ended up leaving every time, still haven’t donated, and won’t try again. If you took a bit of finding from your constant blood shortage ads you could probably hire more nurses to make the experience less painful for everyone.

Made an appointment here in the app, the external signage said the location was closed but the doors were unlocked and the donation room was open. The donation process was very smooth and the phlebotomist did an excellent job, I highly recommend this place
