Three stars because the space it cramped and there is no waiting area. I brought my dad as a driver and he had to sit in the car. There is minimal room for the workers and no privacy. This is a large building, but only a small corner is used for blood donations. I expected better from such a large and well-funded organization. The workers were wonderful!

I walked in to give blood recently and found the experience to be about what I had expected as a walk-in. It’s a busy place. A had a wait at first, 10- 12 min tops. then went back and was grilled with the expected questions. then a wait in the teensey consult cube for a little longer, another 7-8 minutes. I had contact with 3 staff members. All were most pleasant and easy to like. I’ll go back, even if it does take an hour of my day. Good work done there. 4.5 Stars, plus tip for generosity of the volunteers.

I use to enjoy giving blood to the Red Cross. My last few experiences have been long waiting times mixed with staff members who truely do not care. I felt sorry for the volunteers who worked really hard helping out an organization that needs better leadership. I threw my card away the second I got home.

Went there, having scheduled an appointment to donate double red blood cells 3 weeks ago. When they finally took me back to the donation chair, they put me in the wrong one (not next to the machine required for a double red donation). When I questioned this, I was told “It’s too late to donate double red today, you should have scheduled earlier in the day.” Additionally, the staff/volunteers were disorganized. Overall, not a pleasant experience. The people who go out and run the American Red Cross blood drives do a much better job, and I will be donating at those instead henceforth, should I choose to donate again.

I am a big fan of the red cross. I was at one time when I was physically able on their D.A.T team (disaster action team). I had a friend who was the victim of a house fire. The D.A.T members that showed up to help were kind, concerned, helpful, friendly, and empathetic. The blood drives save lives as does the assistance during natural disasters

I went in to donate platelets. I recently got a tattoo in the state of idaho which according to the lady this morning idaho is not a state regulated for tattoo facilities. There for I got turned away after coming in and doing all the prep paper work. I was asking the lady about tattoos last time and I was told nothing about not being eligible. I will never donate again. I should have been told the first time that there was going to be an issue. Very frustrating. I have been donating for 6 years. Unfortunately red cross will not see me again.
