They are closed when it says they are open online frequently, today I had an appointment at 4 called the Red Cross at 350 to make sure they were open they said they were so I drove across town got there at 4:03 and I was informed they are closed at 4 (which is the time my appointment was for) not sure what’s going on but it isn’t easy to donate blood, very difficult and time consuming. Employees are nice enough I’m just sick of trying to reschedule after I already had appointments in the app.

It’s been a while so I thought I would donate after hearing about Covid-19 related blood shortages and lack of donors. Didn’t expect to be turned away when I didn’t have an appointment even though I didn’t see anyone donating in the entire office. They did suggest that I go to a 2nd Red Cross blood drive down the street which also turned me away due to no appointment. Very disappointed that someone that delivers such an essential service would be so rigid and lack creativity in their business practice. After going back with an appointment I had a great experience and the workers were not only very friendly but very good at their job.

Open 2 days a week. Went un at 9:15am this morning the lobby was filling up, the computers were down. This office does not make it easy to (donate!!!) blood. Frankly, it makes it a challenge/hassle to donate here. It seems as though it is a casual effort to operate an office here and casual efforts create casualties, chasing donors away.

Disappointed. After reading their website stating they take walk ins I showed up with 3 people to donate, however when registering an employee named Daniella came out and told the registering tech and us that she wouldn’t be taking any walk ins today and wasn’t sure what day she would accept them. There was no one waiting, just us. Come on Red Cross! Can’t complain of not getting enough donations when you turn donors away.
