Try to make appointment all the time, they never have a opening for whole blood, did get appointment last month and showed up 10 minutes early just to be told they are not drawing blood that day? If there is no need why dont you stop airing commercials saying its needed? Waste of time and gas.

Today was my first experience at this Red Cross donation center and I was very pleased. Dan at the front desk was extremely helpful and nice, and the nurse I had (I forgot her name ♀️) was so great too. I had so many questions about donating and the different types of donations, and she was very willing to answer all of my questions. I will def be back!! Thank you to all of the staff for their professionalism, kindness, and friendliness!

The staff was very kind! I really enjoyed my stay, and they tired their best to make my Two hour platelet visit as comfortable as possible. They covered me in blankets and let me watch Up, which was very enjoyable during the visit !

Today’s visit was a good one, largely due to the nurse handing my double red blood donation. Kelly was very attentive and caring. Some visits, even though i aleays schedule for the first appointment spot, i often have to wait 20 or more minutes. Not today, they got me right in and i was done and on my way home in less than an hour. I have been avoiding the Riverview center because of bad service and wjat I’ve perceived as uncaring staff in the past. I’m happy i gave them another chance today. Very pleasant experience.

Riverview location is ran poorly. I had a 9:30 appt. At 10am I was still waiting. At 10:10, they took a person back for their 10:15. They wouldn’t take a walk-ins, but had open tables the entire time. We walked out at 10:20. I will not go back

Red Cross staff is so friendly. I typically give platelets and it’s a long visit they make you very comfortable considering having your arms locked down for hours.
