People at red cross are generally very polite, and it’s always been a very good experience to me. The Timonium center is only place I’ve seen someone being impolite at a blood donation center. I was asked to go away and reschedule even though there was an open walk-in appointment. The center was completely empty, but I was asked to come back later. And I did go back after an hour, only to the same person asking me rude questions, which I don’t think were relevant. And finally, I was turned down from donating.

Always a great experience! I don’t donate anywhere else. I have teeny tiny veins, and they are always so professional and confident. I’ve never been stuck incorrectly here. If a tech has any issues, they immediately call another person over instead of trying to dig at you to find the vein again. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! They obviously take pride in their work.

This is my favorite location to donate blood (platelets). The staff are incredibly friendly and try to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend trying to give platelets if you can. It takes about 2 hours of your time but is so very urgently needed for cancer patients. Today you could save someone’s life. I can’t imagine a greater feeling and anything more worthy of your time

I’ve never left a review for anything before on Google, but feel quite compelled to after my visit at this Red Cross location today. It’s always a pleasure coming here, but today was especially lovely. The front desk staff ALWAYS greets you with a smile and makes you feel proud to be there. The rest of the staff is as equally friendly. They joke and laugh and make you feel welcome. I still get a little uneasy when I donate and they are always quick to make sure I’m ok and offer juice and snacks. I didn’t think I was going to get through today’s donation without freaking out, but I did and it’s totally thanks to the awesome staff! Plus they can always accurately find my veins and that’s a blessing alone! Thank you Timonium Red Cross!
