There is an opportunity to improve CSL check in and processing efficiency ss well as donor satisfaction. Currently the CSL system requires a vitals collection during the screening process prior to seeing a nurse to update records for medical procedures. If the process was adjusted to allow donors to head straight to the nurse, the donors could avoid waiting in an additional line. This would increase donors satisfaction and possibly improve reporting of medical procedures.

The employees are all great. But there is not enough of them. Whoever upper management is at this facility should understand that the longer you wait to donate, the more likely you are to have a reaction. Coming prepared and hydrated doesn’t matter when you’re waiting 2-3 hours in line at times. Then they took away the snacks or there never are any. To me it doesn’t seem like whomever is in charge really cares about the wellbeing of their donors. Your employees are great but you are severely understaffed..i don’t think I’ve ever been in an out in a reasonable amount of time.

Overall not a bad experience. I did however have one negative experience with one of the doctors.

New Donor here, from a town an hour from this location. I knew I had to schedule a 3-4hrs initial “New Donor” appointment. I also knew I had to bring my DL, SSN card and Utility Bill, within the past 60 days. If you’re thinking about donating plasma here, take my experience with a grain of salt.

I haven’t seen anyone post about it so here we go. I’m not a big needle person but I wanted to donate. I had to wait until after I was 4 months post new tattoo which I understand. They are very thorough in your screening, yes it takes time. This clinic is very busy. Much busier than I thought it would be. Everyone was super nice. Had some laughs with some of the techs. I was a perfect teaching moment for new staff as I have a lot of tattoos and piercings and we had to go through all of them. I felt my stick less that I’ve felt getting my blood drawn at the clinic. On top of that, I’m one of the few that had a reaction towards the end of my donation. They were quick on their feet ending my donation and getting me feeling better. I fainted a lot as a kid so I was able to communicate what was happening and know when I was going out.
