Wait times are so long , about 3 hours if they had faster wait times it would be a 5 star review and I will gladly change my rating to 5 . Also the payment went from 75$ to 65$ so that’s a bummer also the bonus went from 75$ to 35$ so 125$ less monthly .

Got deferred in early July and sent to get release forms from my doctor to prove I was no longer taking a certain medication and could donate. Sent all my info in within the next week and was told the doctor would check it the week after and I’d be cleared to go back. it’s now been over 4 weeks and every time I go back I hear the same response of “the Doctor hasn’t checked it yet, but come back on Friday and it should be ready”. Extremely unprofessional, other centers have never had me wait this long when I run into issues and this is the simplest one I’ve had.

Waited an hour to get sticked and before process were moving around the needle in my arm. The machine went one cycle and on return stopped working. They wanted to stick my other arm i refused and told them to remove needle. Told me i was getting no compensation. I never had no issues at csl all of sudden at bpl the machine struggles with my arm. Machines must be really old. Horrible plasma center and on top no new donor fees

i waited 3 1/2 hours and i still wasn’t called. they only have like 3 employees who actually work. very unprofessional environment and no one cares. definitely referring my staff to donate at a different center. i spent almost 4 hours as a returning donor, imagine NEW DONORS???

Go somewhere else This center is always packed. 30-45 mins to an Hour waiting time for vitals check. And another 45 mins – 1hr waiting time on the donor floor to donate. It’s always packed because of people from JUAREZ. Strongly recommend a different plasma donation center.

I went to go donate for the first time yesterday! I wasn’t able to donate my first few times due to my blood pressure and protein but yesterday I was able to do so although once they hooked me up to the machine and poked me I started feeling a little sick but as soon as I told the nurses they were on it! They did an amazing job reviving me! And they were super nice I am thankful for the nurse in the back she never left my side when I was feeling really sick while donating plasma! I really had an amazing experience I recommend if you wanna donate plasma for the first time! Choose BPL it’s your best bet!!

If I could I would give you all minus 5 stars. It is ridiculous that you say you open at seven but don’t start screening donors until 7:30. Should consider bringing in more staff early or having employees get there earlier to start calibrating the machines.

My husband has started donating again and has been going to this location for about 2 months now. He stared going when they were opening at 8. Now that they started opening at 7 seems like a waste of time. They open the doors at 7 but are barely setting up. They dont start calling up people and setting them up until 7:45. Seems like they like taking their time I stead of considering people’s schedules. There is a reason people go on a Saturday. I would just think that of the employees would get there on time and set up immediately, they would not be wasting people’s time. But it always looks like when they get there, they like to see people wating and getting angry at the fact that they don’t acknowledge the fact that these people are there to help. Instead of thinking about assisting as many people as possible. They are getting paid for what they are doing. So they should think about their patients not they willingness to do what they are getting paid for.

If the center doesn’t not truly open at the posted times, the doors should not be unlocked until they are ready to accept donors, as open doors and unblocked lines would generally indicate.
