Carter BloodCare is an independent, community blood center providing transfusion resources to more than 180 medical facilities in 50-plus counties in North, Central and East Texas. To meet the needs of local patients, we need to see 1,500 donors a day. When you donate blood with Carter BloodCare, you’re giving hope to Texans. We save lives by making transfusion possible.

Maybe everyone I encountered was having a bad day, idk. Just didn’t feel welcomed as a donor and felt nobody there really wanted to be there.. Life isn’t easy sometimes but it’s our attitudes that will make the difference all the time.

Went yesterday to this location for the first time & I was disappointed. The girl who inserted the needle in my arm kept moving the needle around & it kept poking me & it hurt like hell. I could see the needle right under my skin, it looked like it was gonna pop out of my skin. At the end of my session she lifted my arm while I still had the needle in me & I told her it hurt. She didn’t apologize. Very unprofessional.
