I actually like CSL on Broadway. But they have a new security guard that is very scary. I was talking on the phone and waiting to go to the donor floor. He came out of know where very angrily with his eyes full of hatred. Rudely told me to get off the phone. I politely got off so that I could address him. I was not on the donor floor. I was waiting to go to the donor floor. You can not talk on the phone on the donor floor I explained it and another white person amongst others in line showed him the policy. He then became very threatening and intimidating. Way worse then the police. He tried arguing the policy with me . He threatened to defer me and I asked for a manager. He thinks the center is a plantation and he is the master. Clearly he hates black and brown people. He stares at us with hate in his eyes . As if we killed his dog. I don’t have to go to CSL. I’m not going to allow this ignorance of a racial white man to run me off from a place I’ve been going to for 30 years. I will make a formal complaint to CSL and Allied security company. Not sure if Allied is racist but I plan to let it be known.

Waited for a least 20 minutes (45 last time) to get seated there are too many employees on the floor for that to make sense, by that time three new people get in line to be seated. They seat 9 people at the same time only keeping the new donors in order. We time to the best of our ability when we come in so taking people out of order and placing them behind 4 other returning is ridiculous and then to act like we are wrong for saying anything. When you’re wrong you’re wrong.

I came in for a counseling after I called multiple times this week and it was confirmed that I needed one to donate for today when I got there I was told that I couldn’t donate until the deferral time was over by management so I tried to replace my card and ask more about my deferral and when I asked if I could talk to the management that gave me my deferral in the first place I was met with a no and then painted the fee like I was in an abusive demeaning character in front of a room for people and when I tried to defend myself saying you don’t have to expect that I’m such a hospital person as I was agreeing with her to protect her employees and saying okay she has security kicked me out of the building without saying the word to me or even resolving my other issue which I came before before I even spoke to her and telling me that like I had to leave the building and the staff wanted me out of the building when I was just trying to defend my own character. I would leave the manager’s name but she wasn’t wearing uniform refer to herself as manager and didn’t have a name tag

Here’s another update. I am currently at the plasma center donating blood. Whoever stuck my arm originally did such a poor job that my vain is completely bruised and inflamed, they had to stop the drawing mid way and did not return the blood into my body. I now have to wait 56 days to donate blood again.

An empty and bloody sanitizer bottle doesn’t seem very sanitary.. this is just one of many examples of how gross this place usually is. All in the same month there were four incidents where there was blood left somewhere. Two of the times it was large amounts no one had even noticed. And thats not including when they leave spots of it all over their lab coat. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms.
