I was having a very difficult day and was nervous about donating. The phlebotomist, Charlie completed my intake and was super understanding about the day I was having. She provided me peace of mind while preparing me to donate. She decided to be the one to draw my blood and did an excellent job with my donation. I donated blood here in November 20 20. The staff was very friendly but did not seem to know what they were doing. My flow of blood was too slow and two of the staff members were continuously poking and prodding my arm and moving the needle around throughout my donation to try to increase the flow. The whole donation took about an hour when normally should take 15 minutes or less. Afterward, I had significant arm pain that turned into bruising that covered most of my arm. The bruising took a couple of months to heal and now over a year later, I still have chronic pain in my left arm thanks to Vitalant. I will definitely not be returning to this location and possibly not donating blood ever again due to this horrible experience.

Beware and avoid this location. They took temp at door on a hot day and it was 98.5. Took temp later with a different device they claim is accurate and temp said 100.3 and they told me I had a fever and could not donate. Took temp again at door before I left and was still 98. Went home and took temp with gun and thermometer I put in mouth and it was 98. They are giving out false fever diagnosis during COVID which is not funny. Will be reporting this to Tri-County health and State for investigation.

No problems with donation. I also had a high temp on a hot day, but they let me wait 5 minutes before retaking my temp and it was normal. They took it again inside and it was normal.
