They have to trade in my van and put me on a supposed 50 day deferral after I called after 50 days they said no we placed you on a permanent deferral because you would not let us restrict you. I informed them that because of them infiltrating my vein in my arm being so sore. Of course, I did not let them re-stick me. They called this a refusal of. Of red blood cells, returning and put me on a permanent deferral this meeting I can never go back there after they missed my arm up know that I only have one arm that can be used. Please if you have a chance to go anywhere else Grifols CSL, or anywhere else please go there because the people that I do not care about you and I hope that no one else is hurt

I waited 1hour yesterday in line standing up for the screening process. When I arrive there were 7 people ahead of me. At no time during my 1 hour wait did anyone help with screening. Supervisor walked by several times and no help. All the employees look like zombies! I commented to the person behind me how now one looks happy. I very rarely complain, but everyone there has a job because of the donors. No donors, no job! I will not be returning! I donate at a different location where people enjoy their job and call me by my first name!

I wish more people worked here because when you walk in you’re not greeted and have to stand by until someone notices you, but other than that it’s clean and the wait isn’t terrible. Also the computers/screens to check in ARE terrible, so using the app to check in while you’re waiting in line is the quickest/easiest.

She has been here for 5 years and is the fastest and hardest worker there, and she really cares. If you have any questions or need any assistance Lala is on the case. 5/5! ! Absolutely wonderful! I’ve been to many places and this Edgewater location is by far my favorite. I love coming in on days that LaLa is working she is the best never seen someone screen people so fast while still doing everything she needs to do! I’ve. Never moved through a line as fast as she gets it done.. everybody else is awesome especially Arlene!

Coming to the location for a little over one month now. Let me tell you. It is so different than bio life or the other shady places.. Here you are treated by professionals with patience and caring. Their attitudes are top tier, especially Courtland, Sandra, lala and Isaac. I think more people that come to donate me to realize that in order for them to do their jobs, they have to take their time. They have to focus on pay attention, this is healthcare.

The only thing that I can say negative about this place is that every time I make it to the top of the payment tier I am asked to do a blood test sample for the lab over and over again until the amount of time spent doing so causes me to be back to the bottom tier! On a more positive note I am well pleased with the other services and the staff

It was just this one incident where a new employee was being trained to do intake and seasoned employee was working her. Well she was taking an abnormal amount of time talking with the donor before me and when I mentioned it the seasoned employee snapped back at me as though I said something wrong. I told her that to me it was more than the norm. She then called the supervisor and they chatted privately about it and then came over and confronted me and I told him what transpired and he immediately backed her up by finding fault with me for being disrespectful. I chose not to escalate it any further.
